The meats are marinated well and all the dips and dressings are very tasty indeed. Exactly like what you will find in Istanbul. Portions are big but because it is so tasty, we ended up ordering another portion.

Located on a can't miss spot (the red cone building Studentersamfundet), Sesam has been serving hungry students queueing for events and after parties for years. When I celebrate I go to Sesam. When my lab experiments break down and I feel angry, I go to Sesam. Objectively though, Sesam is indeed better than the mediocre burger/kebab standards of Trondheim, and one of the few who serves real beef patties (not the highest quality beef, but still). You can size up or down the amount of beef up to 250gr(?), and select different toppings. Tourists will probably wonder what's so special about Sesam. But to some Trondhjemmers, Sesam is as close to their hearts as Mama's own cooking. XXXXX
