My friend and I had dinner right next door and decided to stop by afterwards and to our surprise, there wasn't any line! The spot is pretty cramped, even inside although there is a bench on the window seating and a table, it's a really tight knit spot. Parking would also be if you're lucky for street parking or parking structures in the surrounding area. My friend and I got their Matcha Pillow which was by far my favorite matcha! It does not have that milky base overload taste even thought it's made with milk. It's very refreshing! I also got their pastries to try and they were to die for. Their cookies are humongous! I got their tiramisu cookie and we loved it.

Delicious bakery that specializes in creative bagels in the Pasadena area! I visited this bakery with a friend on a Sunday morning and it was packed, but the line moved relatively quickly. We probably waited about 20 minutes in line. My friend and I shared the following pastries: - Mexican Street Corn Bagel: My friend's and my favorite pastry. The bagel texture was soft and chewy and we enjoyed the creamy and spicy cream cheese. The roasted corn was also tasty. I would get this again. - Maple Glaze Green Onion: Unique croissant! I enjoyed the combination of the savory green onions and sweet maple glaze. The croissant was also flaky which I liked. - Strawberry Shortcake Bagel: Tasty and sweet bagel. I enjoyed the strawberry jam and crumbled cakes bits inside the bagel. It would even be better with some sort of cream cheese. - French Onion Bagel: My least favorite pastry out of what we got, but it wasn't bad. I would've liked this one better if it were more savory. Everything was great, but feel like it would've been better if they were warmed up instead of room temperature. I'm not sure if that's possible with the cream-based items, but I would have definitely enjoyed the croissant better if it was warmed up. The crowd control was pretty good and it was easy to select the items you want and pay for them. The interior isn't the biggest and there are limited tables and seats to sit and eat at. They also have a roomy private bathroom available. Overall, a good experience here. I would come back and try the items and drinks.

Taiwanese owner, asian-inspired flavored bagels. There's always a line, but it moves fast. Our favorite: Cream cheese & Onion, Everything Bagel, Garlic & Cream cheese, Mexican corn, and Milk crumble. Everything is made fresh in house everyday, they also help you warm up the bagels if you eat right away.

If you are hunting for an ultimate breakfast pastry or honestly anytime dessert/snack pick me up, check this place out. Located in Old Town Pasadena, it is the first US location for the popular Taiwanese bakery China. This place brings an incredible Asian diasporic twist to classic laminated dough and stuffed bagels. They have a pretty wide selection of different flavor stuffed bagels, sweet and savory. A great savory choice is Garlic butter and whipped cream cheese. For a slightly sweeter option, the black sesame cream cheese is one of my favorite out of the two visits I made. Their drinks are great as well. My top recommendation is Houjicha latte with cream top, ugh. The ambiance of the shop is pretty aesthetic. But it is packed as heck on weekends. Since the seatings are pretty limited and are almost always occupied, a lot of people are huddled around while waiting for their orders. It can get somewhat cramped. I would say have a back plan of just getting it to go and enjoy it later or go to the alley where iPic theater is! Plenty of seats. The line can get somewhat long. On both visits, I've waited for nearly 30 minutes, which isn't all that bad. I don't know if it's the same on weekdays though.

Fire pastries, long line even on a weekday. So worth it tho!! Very efficient once you get inside. Forgot to take a pic of my matcha but it was so strong and great!!

Easily my favorite bakery in Pasadena! If you're a bagel enthusiast, Miopane needs to be on your radar right now. Such a great spot! There is a parking structure on Union St and there's street parking. The line moves relatively fast. There is a line because they don't want to overcrowd the inside which makes sense but the staff keeps it moving. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I've been to my fair share of bakeries, but the texture and bold flavors here are in a league of their own. The bagels are elite. You get that perfect, snappy chew on the outside, opening up to an insanely soft, pillowy inside. I also think it's a big plus they go heavy on the fillings. The matcha crumble and the jalapeno sharp cheddar need to be on your list for your first time.

Unlike any bagel I'd ever had before! The elote special was stuffed and so full of flavor. The wait was a little long, but worth it as long as it's not too hot out. Go go go!

Mexican Street Corn Bagel - the lime squeezed on top of the sweet and savory corn with creamy cotija + jalapeño cheese... it's hard to describe just how wonderful my first bite was. you've got to try this out for yourself please. this is tangy and mouthwatering. eat this when you get it! since it's overly loaded, it got really soft and harder to eat with each bite Whipped Cream Cheese Garlic Butter Bagel - recommend this if you LOVE garlic. i'm a huge fan but this made me rethink because woah is it garlicky. and woah do i need this again and again and again! the bagel itself is addicting and warm, the crust is shell-like but not too airy or firm, the whipped cream cheese is a delight! picking this apart is great, biting into it is too, this is great Everything Bagel w/ Smoked Gouda - what can i say besides plushy, pillowy... the smoked gouda filling. take me there. another top favorite for sure. she is so good. this being one of their more "basic" bagels on the menu, this genuinely could be my #1 favorite out of them all. it's that good. Tiramisu Croissant - wow this felt like biting into Christmas evening, for some reason, for me. the espresso was alright, yummy mascarpone filling. the crust on this + blueberry croissant is crackling and delicately flaky, wonderful + Blueberry Croissant (unpictured) - filling perfectly sweet, but not overly. this is in our top favorites!!! All of this with a coffee on the side? That was my mistake and what I recommend to do. Do yourself a favor Line lengthy so lengthy, we came about an hour after opening, but moves quick once you're inside! Definitely worth the wait

Yeah this bagel was legendary. I ate it after a few hours of sitting in the car and it was still super duper gas. Great texture and I loved the black sesame filling. Really good for munching. Fire.

Met a friend for brunch and finally got to try the coveted Miopane!! You can smell the goodness down the block. Overall, everything was yum but the showstopper was the egg boat croissant. I highly recommend getting it toasted. But it was a perfect balance of flavors. All the other items were good but nothing spectacular. Einspanner latte was delicious but I wish it came in a larger size. The inside is small With one community table and a few bar stools. Keep that in mind if you plan on dining in.

I have been wanting to try Miopane for a while now after seeing videos all over Instagram and TikTok, it is worth the hype!!!! I came on a Friday morning and the line roped outside; however, it went by quickly. Upon entering, it smells so good! Everything is fresh and you can see the employees making fresh pastries in the back. I ordered the Garlic and Butter and the Hojicha latte. The Garlic and Butter was delicious. They are so generous with their fillings and it has a strong garlic flavor. The bread is crispy and soft on the inside. Baked perfectly!! Although I only tried this, there are so many unique flavors and many options for all kinds of taste palates. The Hojicha was smooth with good flavor. Will definitely be coming again, and this is definitely a place I would recommend!

I pass by this place every time I'm parking in old town pasadena and got an opportunity to try the pastries while the line was short one day. I got a garlic cream bread and a scallion bread (I don't remember their exact names). My wife also snuck in a hojicha drink that she thought was great. I didn't directly ask her but she had a satisfied look while sipping on it as we walked around. The garlic cream bread and scallion bread were very much on the savory side, which I prefer. The garlic taste was very strong and I loved the pungent-ness. The bread had a mochi like bounce to it on every bite, unexpected but a very welcoming texture. The scallion bread was even better. Very strong salty scallion taste with the same bounciness in the bread. The exterior of the bread was very crispy too. Each bite was the perfect flavor and texture. If I imagined a scallion bread, this would be it. Overall, pretty darn good bread. I don't remember how much I paid individually but my two breads and a drink came out to around $24 after tax. Is it worth it? I'd say so for the scallion bread. Can't say much about the others as my wife finished them before I could have more.

Got here on a Saturday afternoon and there's a line that took about 10-15 mins. I got the French onion bagel and the toasted tomato with herbs bagel to go. I really like the French onion bagel - lots of cream inside so it's pretty filling and the French onions on top are cooked perfectly (soft and savory). The toasted tomato bagel is a bit more plain - wish there's more cheese inside! They also have a drinks menu. If you're only getting drinks you can skip the line and go to the register. Not sure if the tipping culture has gone too far but I was not really expecting to pay tips at the iPad kiosk for some bagels... There's a large table and some seating by the window but don't expect to find a seat when it's peak times.

Anyway, I'm typically a plain bagel girlie, however, I decided to try the jalapeño cheddar, and after some convincing from the cashier, add the sausage and egg. I didn't like anything about it. I don't feel the need to break that down. But, I was reminded why it's been so long. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't disgusting, just not for MY pallet. The location itself is really nice, well kept. And the customer service was great. I do like the variety of options and appreciated the short wait, given the amount of customers that just kept coming. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

To make matters worse, my order was wrong, and when I politely pointed it out, I was met with attitude instead of an apology. The staff member barely acknowledged the mistake and acted like fixing it was a huge burden. The CASHIER took the bagel out in her bare hand to show me it was in the bag. Talk about unsanitary! The bagel itself was average at best--definitely not worth dealing with such unpleasant service. There are plenty of places that serve good food and treat customers with basic courtesy. This was my first experience at this chain and I won't be coming back.
