Established in 1980.

Minuteman Press in Montpelier was established by a previous owner in the 1980s. Jon and Nancy Cunningham purchased the store in September of 2005. Minuteman Press is an international franchise, although the Montpelier location is locally owned and operated.

Meet the Business Owner: Jon C.

Jon and Nancy Cunningham purchased their first Minuteman Press shop in 2003 in South Burlington. In 2005, they purchased their second shop in Montpelier.The South Burlington location later moved to Hinesburg and then to the current Colchester location in 2016. Minuteman Press is a franchise, although, the Colchester and Montpelier locations are independently owned and operated.

We all have bad days, were human, but you're feelings and negative attitude should never be pushed onto other employees and especially not the customers. I stood at the counter with absolutely zero vocal or visual acknowledgment from Tonya as she moved boxes and items around in her area and annoyingly tossing her tape around her area. And no, there was no missing that I was standing there. I waited long enough that I had become uncomfortable holding my boxes and was concerned about being late to my appointment. Tonya finally looked at me and rudely told me to put my box's on the counter with a tone and look on her face that I was an inconvenience to her. In silence, she scanned my two codes, handed me my receipt and turned her back to me with no words. I thanked her and she turned her back to me with no acknowledgement. There was no need for me as a customer to leave that experience annoyed. I hope you're having a better day today, Tonya.

The staff truly ensures that the material being sent to them is in order and ready to be processed as soon as they receive it. We needed 400 fundraiser letters printed. I spoke to the Minuteman Press staff and explained what we wanted. After saving our documents as PDF files, we emailed them to Minuteman. Later we received proofs, reviewed them and then gave the go-ahead to print the letters. Did all this without leaving the house. It was so convenient and a great time-saver. read more
