It is also very well lit inside, well organized and always has some type of sales bins towards the front in case you are on a super low budget. This place is already pretty cheap though so not sure how poor you would have to be... Their pricing is the variable here. They weigh all your items that are priced by pound, so the lighter your items are, the cheaper of a deal you usually get. If you want jeans or a jacket you can still sometimes find good deals here if its made of a lighter material. You can also wait as they weigh your items to decide if you think they are worth the price, if not you can always say ne. Last time I went here I got two dresses for 80 czk and they were both brand name, Jen calls that a steal. I will most likely go back here due to the nice staff and large selection.

The girl that works there is super friendly, speaks very little english but is always eager to practice. Their selection is from a much younger perspective, early to mid 20's which I like because the clothes tend to be smaller (but still a good selection) and actually fit me. They also always have multiple 10 crown bins, as well as a table set up in the back with different sales all the time, sometimes everything on the table is 20czk/50czk you get the idea. I have racked up numerous good deals with this place and was hesitant to share it with yelp because its one of my favorites and not well knows. They offer clothes, bags, shoes, jewelry, pantyhose, you name it. For the place being a bit small I'm surprised they can fit it all in there. A lot of the coats were good- heavy even and going from 200 crowns. Mostly all their clothes were a brand of some sort, I got a dress, and two nice sweaters for 300 crowns. Now that is a deal. I would probably not come in here normally, but with the sale time I would say it was a great deal and worth stopping in for. They also had nice sneakers and boots half off, which I would have bought had I not been leaving Prague with no room in my suitcase. Overall! Staff was friendly and helpful, place was well organized (by color too!) but without a sale I would just wait....

It is packed with many many things to see everywhere you look. This is really my kind of place because I love to dig through the treasures. We bought a really nice silver corkscrew from the early 1900s and I thought the price was fair. The owner is very knowledgeable, speaks great English and is very friendly and happy to answer questions and discuss the history of the merchandise.

There's barely enough room to walk around in the space. One person with a backpack would likely crash everything down. I'm fortunate I could slither into the "aisles" as it was just me while I was in serious contemplation mode. Martin the shopkeep was there, something between keeping watch on me and eating his lunch behind the beaded curtain. He may come off as intimidating or unfriendly at first, but once I got to asking him about items he opened up and was extremely friendly. If you're looking for specific things, you'll have to ask about them. I ended up purchasing an antique Czech fountain pen that he allowed me to test out and even gave me a discount. Prices are on the higher side, probably because of location and gullible tourists, but it appears the items are authentic and not facsimiles. Hope you left some space in your suitcase!

Prague Thrift is small, but things are tucked in everywhere. I ended up getting a like new Zella athletic top, women's in-line skates, helmet and wrist guards. The employee went out of his way to help me examine the condition of skates ( they were excellent) and even suggested places to use them. There was the feeling that expats donated their things here when they left Prague. Some nice small kitchen appliances, English language guidebooks, novels, and kids books. Random sports equipment like a rugby ball, rackets, and even a folding exercise bike. There was a nice room dedicated to children's things. Men's and women's clothing was organized well. There were lots of shoes, purses, bags, some luggage too. It got a little busy on Saturday in the hour before closing time. There is a high demand fitting room there as well. Overall, I am very happy to have made my way over using the #16 tram. I could see why so many customers felt like regulars.
