We ended up here at something like 9pm when we lost track of time and were starving out of our minds. On one hand, the food here was great and I'm glad we randomly found it. On the other hand, the service was really borderline unacceptably slow-to be completely fair, the places was packed to the gills with only two servers running around constantly. It was a bit disorganized in general, but again, it was so packed I'm willing to overlook it. Though for sure they need to hire more staff for the prices...The place itself is cute as heck though, it's like an indoor garden in decor and looks like it would make a great date night spot. I had a great penne all'arrabbiata that had a great kick to it and was also cooked to perfection. My partner had, and I quote, "the best eggplant parmesan ever" so mission accomplished. It was so late at night and we were so dehydrated that it was just water and the two dishes. I wish we had come earlier and the service was faster, we might have tried a bit more. Fantastick combination of flower shop and cafe - but the cafe part is getting out of their hands, they have alot more seating than they can service in an acceptable time - that combined with high prices, left me with 3 stars - But the food is good, and the atmosfair between young people and flowers is nice. Terrible place. I should have taken the hint that the place was empty on a Sunday at 11:30am. But that couldn't stop my hunger: I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Let's read on: 14€ will get you a brunch with the following: Boiling cappuccino. Bread (white bread, not even toast) Some undercooked meat posing as bacon. A dry store bought muffin. Stopped here for dinner after work. The place always seems to be full so we figured it must be a good. They offer regular meals and tapas. We had a party of three and everyone ordered a meal (no tapas). We shared the buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes - it was ok but nothing special. Of the three meals - two were incorrect. I understand not everyone speaks perfect English, but we pointed to the items on the menu, the waiter confirmed out selection, yet we still received the wrong dishes. My spaghetti was dry and leathery (tasted re-heated and old). The meals for the other party members were ok, nothing special. We passed on dessert as we didn't want to take another chance of receiving the wrong items. We spent 95 euros on a meal that was less than satisfying, certainly no bargain. Given the other great local restaurants, save your time and money. read more

I can't speak much for this place other than it was TOO STINKIN CUTE! We just had one drink here and left but the wine was delicious and the decor was perfect. Even the details in the bathroom....loved it. Can't say anything about the food since we didn't eat but for a late night glass of wine, we were happy campers. read more

Brunching at MINT was the worst part of my week-end in Milan. The only pro of this place : the set up of the restaurant and the fact that there are flowers and plants all over the place, kinda cool. Now let's list the cons: -the food is barely eatable : the New Yorker brunch is really bad with cheap toasts, extra greasy bacon and the worst : the scrambled eggs that taste like everything but eggs. The other brunches are either really cheap or really bad. No matter what you pick you will be hungry afterwhile -the service was truly a catastrophe : we waited 1h30 for brunches. We were all served at different timing, we had to ask for everything at least 3 times (how can it take you 20mn to bring a bottle of San Pellegrino ?!) and the hot beverages were brought when we were done eating -the waiters and the owner were crazy unfriendly and basically never apologized for any of the catastrophoc brunch or all the delays -it was not even cheap, when you compare to Milan prices Just never come here. There are so many cool places in the city to either lunch brunch or have dinner, just dont bother coming to live this hell. read more
