However the pics looked good enough, plus they're a 3 minutes walk from us. Unlike most European restaurants, they had plenty of room with smaller rooms off to the side. Just like a flower garden, I felt like the space was laid out like a garden where the rooms acted as rooms which stretched to various areas of the space. The food was amazing. It was so good that we went two nights in a row. The staff speak English and are very helpful. The plants, music, low lighting and dark walls added a peaceful feeling while dining. We went with two toddlers which is hardly peaceful, but they were very accommodating and helpful. If you want to find a hidden gem of a restaurant in Milan, visit Potafiori.

#122-2016:…read more PULENTINO!!!!!! Need I say more?? REALLY??? OK then... we had just got done celebrating the YELPERS OF THE MONTH (2015 edition) with a lunch with salty crêpes and we needed to top our tanks off with some truly scrumptioulicious decantly calories-filled desserts. "Where should we head?" "I got a pure sweet heaven place and the right sweet orgasmic hot beverage in mind" "ok LET'S GO!!!" We walk to this amazing location and ALL order our PULENTINO (some still having place in their tummies for sweets, ordering zeppole, and little tarts). What is PULENTINO? A mix of orgasmic hot and sweet ingredients, some crema pasticcera mixed with hot cocoa a crunchy little chunk hidden. In the thick liquid..PURE heaven!!! Will I be able to resist the temptation to NOT head on to this amazing place for more sweet amazing adventures.

With the sun finally shining after a weekend of thunderstorms we had been walking in the area when we found this lovely spot. Having had a look at the menu we opted for something which is essence was afogato, well it was coffee and gelato as a drink, with a chocolate rim to the cup and a chocolate dipped spoon! DELICIOUS I had a little croissant with Milano salami to go with it, all in all it was the perfect late morning stop. Now to find this drink in the UK!!!

Meeting friends for coffee, this bar is located close to Parco Sempione (but not in view) and…read morespecializes in pastry from southern Italy. They offered brioche, but also a custard filled tart (in two sizes) that is typical in the region. The walls are decorated in traditional items you would find in the region including woven basket 'plates' and prickly pear cactus. They have an assortment of coffee of specials on the chalk board as well as 'regular' coffee. There are a couple of 'two-seater' tables and three stools between the front window and the end of the bar. It was busy the day we went with people coming in to stand at the bar and drink their coffee, as well as some coming in to 'take away' pastry. The young woman behind the counter was very pleasant and quite busy. We sat at the bar (on the stools) or stood while we visited. This is a small location, very well maintained, the coffee is good and the service is with a smile.
