It's my weekend of "YES!" in the OC, so of course I checked out Min's Dumpling, as suggested by Yelp friend Sherry C. (aka IG: aglassofsherry). I'm glad I did! I was welcomed in immediately and guided towards the menus. A large one on the wall, many laminated ones at the counter, and handed a tie-fold menu to look at. Everything looked good and it was challenge to not over order, but I've been craving dim sum and there were many options. Hubs was there for support, but not indulgence, so I ordered Shrimp & Pork Shu Mai: very tasty! Sweet Piggy Buns: YUM! (...and oh so CUTE!) A must get if you like soft, steamed bao w/slightly sweet custard filling. And Sesame Ball: these are always on my list as a must. Unfortunately, these were small, greasy, unevenly fried and not uniformly covered in sesame. They didn't satisfy my craving, so I'll have to find these again, maybe back in SGV on the way home. I was also wanting to add more clean protein and for that, broccoli chicken was perfect. The sauce was nice and light and there was a generous amount of chicken breast and lightly sautéed, still crunchy broccoli. They just launched new beverages so I opted for a Thai Tiger Milk w/traditional boba. It was good, but I think I'll stick to boba drinks from Sunright when I'm craving milk tea, boba and cheese foam. The interior of Min's is very cute and I wish I could've seen the robot server in action. Maybe next time I'm in the area, with a friend who likes to indulge in delicious, freshly made Chinese dishes, I'll pop back into Min's for the friendly service, nice decor and steamed bao. Cheers! We placed a pick up order after seeing the UE BOGO promo for pork xiao long bao. Soup Dumplings 4/5: They were good, both in texture and flavor. They inclided black vinegar, soy sauce, and Sriracha. We would have enjoyed ginger and chili oil/crunch, but that may come down to their to go options. Scallion Pancakes 5/5: They were our favorite from the meal. The tasted so fresh, and they were crisp with a good chew. Fried String Beans 4/5: There was a generous amount of minced garlic that complimented the tang of the sauce, but they were a bit oily. Broccoli Beef 2/5: We would skip this if we return. The broccoli was well prepared, but there was no flavor to the beef and the sauce was clumpy and not the expected texture. The staff seemed genuinely nice and were attentive. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the order, but everything was hot and fresh.

Stopped by Min's Dumpling for a quick bite tonight. Very small restaurant but it was clean. I ordered the main entrees instead of dumplings. Chicken fried rice: very good flavor but definitely needs more chicken. Rice and protein could have been of a better ratio. Too much rice and not much chicken. For the few pieces of chicken in the dish, it was nice and tender meat. Sweet and sour chicken: requested without batter fried and they gladly did it. But it had too much of vinegar taste and way too much onions. The chicken again, was very tender and good. Maybe I ordered the wrong menu items? Next time I'll try the chicken and broccoli in brown sauce, Kung pao chicken, and/or shrimp with broccoli? Service was great. Tommy did everything himself: greet diners, take orders, serve, and clean up! And he was still pleasant and always smiling.

The food was really tasty! We got the Kung Pao chicken, beef fried rice, wontons in chili oil, and sweet buns. Everything was brought out promptly and tasted so good. The restaurant itself is really clean with great ventilation because we didn't smell much of the food until it was brought to our table. The waiter was really friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

I'm so happy to find out Min's Dumpling opened a new location so close to home! I placed the order via Toast app and everything was ready upon arrival. Parking free, easy and plenty. You can also place the order using their two kiosks by the entrance or via server. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. I think it would be best if consumed onsite as everything tasted tepid and cold by the time I got home some 10 minutes later. The dumplings and wontons were wonderful. Flavorful and had just the right amount of filling and great texture. Scallion pancakes were ok. The oil tasted stale and I wish I had some sort of dipping sauce to go with it. The sesame balls were delicious. I could eat a whole two dozen of it. Can't wait to go back again in the near future!

Broccoli Beef Lunch Bento Box. Tender slices of beef with crisp-tender broccoli. So delicious!

Ordered for delivery through DoorDash, and everything arrived neatly packed and still wonderfully hot; always a good sign before the first bite! THE FOOD. - Classic Pork Soup Dumplings. Each dumpling bursts with juicy, savory broth and tender pork. I think it goes without saying, poke a small hole to release the steam and sip the broth; biting into it could lead to unintended splatter! - Hot & Sour Soup. A bright, tangy-sweet broth with strips of tofu and egg. Comforting, balanced, and exactly what you hope for from a classic. - Broccoli Beef Lunch Bento Box. Tender slices of beef with crisp-tender broccoli. So delicious! It also comes with a side of rice and Persian cucumber salad. Highly recommend. - Honey Walnut Shrimp Lunch Bento Box. Plump shrimp coated in a sweet, creamy sauce, and paired with crunchy walnuts for texture. I didn't think the two would pair well together, but it works! - Kung Pao Beef. Flavorful stir-fry of tender beef, peanuts, and veggies tossed in a savory-sweet chili sauce. The spice is mild, which perfectly suited my palette. Highly recommend! THE VERDICT. Their meats are great quality and flavors are on point. Honestly, that's all I ever ask from a place, and they definitely deliver.

Restaurant is large and spacious. Decor is clean and modern. Seating is close but not crowded. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered: A1. Cucumber Salad: good, slightly sweet, generous garlic D1. Classic Pork Soup Dumplings [6 pcs] : Good, nice overall flavor D3. Pork Pot Stickers [8 pcs]: good, nice crust, slightly underwhelming on the filling amount D10. Sweet Piggy Buns [4 pcs]: great, fluffy, sweet, custardy E5. Honey Walnut Shrimp: good, nice texture and sauce, sweet walnuts TLDR: Great service, good food, excellent establishment, good value. Would recommend!

We love XLB so we were excited to try this new dumpling spot so close to home. You order on a kiosk and then find a table. Ordering is easy and the restaurant is clean with friendly staff. We have eaten many xlb from many different spots and we ordered a couple of dishes that we usually get when we go out for dumplings and here are my thoughts: Cukes - crunchy but needed to marinate longer as they were not that flavorful Green beans - al dente with good flavor Pork XLB - the skin is too thick and most had NO broth. We ordered 3 steamers and only a 3rd had broth. They don't have sliced ginger which goes hand in hand with vinegar as accompaniments so that makes these XLB only 3 stars Spicy wontons - thin skin with good amount of meat and I appreciate that they didn't drown them in the spicy sauce Hot n Sour soup - spicy with a good amount of tofu, etc in it. Overall we will not come back here for XLB since there are other local places that have better XLBs, with broth inside and serves ginger with them

Got to try out this Chinese restaurant in Mission Viejo. I enjoyed the chick chow mein and the Xiao Long Bao. The noodles was not too oily and the chicken was tender. While the XLB was meaty and soupy. The server was attentive and provided us with water refills. They do have a robot server too which was fun for the kids. I had a bit of trouble timing when I should be taking the delivered food from it.

Pleasantly surprised, was immediately warmly welcomed into the restaurant with great customer service. Ordering was super easy! You have the option to order through the kiosks or simply ordering at the table if dining in, a very inclusive experience. Food came out hot and fresh and at a very accommodating speed. The chicken wontons in chili sauce were delicious, and I will be craving them for the rest of the week. The highlight was the kitty robot waiter that brought us drinks, the cutest and coolest thing! This is a smaller restaurant but very cozy and clean. Mins is great for a lowkey date night with good food and good vibes and good service with reasonable prices! Will be back soon!

Tommy is the Best! This is great food and the service is awesome. We love Min's!!! Double rainbow out side the shop for good luck and great food!!

Staff: The staff here is really amazing. We had 2 servers but our main one was Johe which may be misspelled. Her service was truly top notch. She was very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a pleasure to be helped by. Quality/Quantity: The food here was so good. We tried the spicy wontons, fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, pot stickers, and dumplings. Everything was good but the spicy wontons were LEGENDARY. They were very flavorful and not too hot. These are my favorite. Portion sizes are fair. Value: This is subjective to each individual, but I can say that all of the food ordered was $60. Overall: We've been in search of a new Chinese restaurant and I am happy to say I think we found it. We were very impressed by this establishment. Pro tip: You either have to order on a kiosk or with a person at the front. Be sure you bring cash as after you have experience the great service, there is no way to tip as you've already paid. Luckily, we had cash. Great job to the team here. We will be back for sure.

The Eggplant tasted like they had emptied an entire salt shaker into it and was inedible. Our server, for lack of a better word, Isabel, was extremely rude and inattentive the entire time. Isabel thought it would be a good idea to focus on the other tables while basically ignoring ours. The worst part was at the end of the meal after I had requested she take the charge off the bill for the horrible food. Isabel begrudgingly agreed to take it off with not as much as any type of apology. It then took her probably 10 minutes to return after gleefully chatting with other tables and walking by us maybe 4-5 times without making eye contact. Once Isabel produced her handheld POS terminal and asked me how I would be paying, I called her out on the lack of courtesy and basic manners. I asked her if she'd be apologizing for the lousy food and she literally said "No, it's not my fault." All the time she had this maniacal grin on her face that was not only out of place but a little on the psychotic side. Isabel kept glaring at me every time she walked by as if to say I don't owe you a thing and there's nothing you can do about it. After speaking with the manager (Shu) I understand how Isabel has this attitude. He was oblivious to the lack of decency and common sense displayed. He just kept repeating the fact that they had removed it from the bill without the least bit of remorse. All this time I was speaking with Shu, Isabel kept walking around with this crazed grin on her face to hear what we were discussing. I've honestly never experienced any server like her in my entire life. The best Shu could do was to tell me the next time I came in they'd seat me with another server. The next time? This speaks to the oblivious nature of the employees at China Moon. He actually thought that after that, I would be returning. Isabel was the weirdest server I've literally ever had in my life and it was clear at the end that Shu didn't have a clue about customer service or the dining experience. I would avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being treated like garbage by people that don't have any clue what service is.

My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!

I was a little surprised that it had an assortment of proteins in it.

Hidden gem for sure. Got recommended by a co-worker and it was definitely worth checking out. It's…read morea cute little spot tucked into the plaza with cozy vibes. We had just gotten back from China and were craving Chinese food, so this totally hit the spot haha. We ordered the beef stew soup noodles, fried pan pork dumplings, and string beans and everything was delicious! One thing we liked was how they had QR code ordering and easy mobile payment. It reminded us of being back in China with how convenient everything was. The prices were also more affordable compared to places like Din Tai Fung. Overall, a solid spot with good food & easy ordering. 100% would come back again.

I ordered the popcorn chicken, eggplant, pork ribs, and beef roll. All I have to say is wow, what a difference from when we were dining in. The portion sizes are pretty much cut in half. The popcorn chicken... wow I mean there were MAYBE 10-15 pieces max and I'm talking small pieces. It was a tiny lil appetizer. It was definitely not enough food for 4 people unfortunately. And the garlic pork ribs were literally all bone. So bottom line, don't order take out. Dine in is the way to go

Absolutely delicious! Definitely the best dumplings I've had outside of Irvine…read more Service was quick, and the inside was clean and chill. Everything came out piping hot and fresh with good flavors. Perfect spice level, just enough to be noticeable but not overpowering. We had the chashu buns, which were fluffy, soft, sweet, and steamy, exactly what you want to finish off a meal. The Dan Dan noodles were solid but not the best I've had, I preferred the homemade noodles with peanut sauce which were scrumptious. Soft chewy noodles with a light peanut sauce and crunchy cucumbers. The xiao long bao had perfect thin dough with a good pork flavor inside, I was very impressed and felt they could handle their own alongside din tai fung. I've had bad luck at other dumpling places around OC with the spicy chili wontons, but these were aMAZing and a little addicting. Perfect bite size and spice. We polished our plates and felt far too full but it was worth it, I highly recommend!

Since my tastes aren't quite as adventurous, we ordered the Sichuan sweet and spicy chicken and the mapo tofu. I wasn't sure what to expect from the chicken dish, but it reminded me of a chicken in garlic sauce. The portion was very generous. full of meat, and not very spicy at all. Likewise, the mapo tofu wasn't that spicy but it had a lot of Sichuan peppercorns, which provided that mouth-numbing feel. The serving was large enough that we had leftovers (and the chicken dish, too). Maybe because my husband is not Chinese, they toned down the spice level - which is funny because I'm the one that can't handle spicy. The restaurant is nice and modern. They have QR codes for the menu, but they also have physical copies as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the menu was much larger than the menu pics I had seen uploaded on Yelp (I added a bunch of new ones). Service was fine (though they were arguing over whose fault it was that a customer was ignored, which gave it that authentic feel). Plenty of parking in the lot.

I am not from the area and wanted to go to this restaurant on Thursday. I wanted to see where it was and confirm it exists since Google Maps got it wrong. There is a heavy language barrier if you do not speak Chinese (which I do not). The host / waiter was barely able to confirm the address which was a match to this page. I plan on attending and will update my rating if I go or delete it if my guest does not like Sichuan food and I don't get to go. She might also had trouble hearing me.
