It's a family owned farm with the daughter making wonderful cheeses and they use the leftover liquid from making the cheese to make their spirit AZRO(Araga is the name for fermented milk wine- koumiss- distilled into liquor. We use Redhead Creamery milk sugar to make this fine spirit.) It is a super cook place with extremely friendly people working the farm. The cheeses they make are phenomenal, when I walked into the restaurant/shop area my senses were hit with mouthwatering smells and the food backs it up. Go support an amazing local business, you won't regret it. The drinks were great as was the food, my wife got the JER-LINDY SMASH BURGER It is beef seasoned and smashed with your choice of Redhead Cheese and a house made Lucky's mustard aioli and deep fried cheese curds. I got the pan fried curds, cast-iron fried to perfection and topped with a maple bacon syrup. Again this place is just awesome, definitely go check it out and go on a tour as well!

This place is conveniently located next to about five or six motels and hotels, so it makes for a perfect venue for a unique dinner spot. From an exterior standpoint. The place looks great, and has plenty of parking. There are a couple major potholes in the parking lot that could have been fixed but that's a small thing. On the inside, lots of wooden booths and a very festive Hispanic atmosphere. I really enjoy the sombreros hanging from the sides of the booth, as well as the paintings on the wall. From a visual standpoint. This looked like it was going to be a great meal. The waitress came and took my order. She seemed very frightened and standoffish. Now I'm a big guy. I get that, but I'm not that intimidating. But she made zero eye contact and couldn't really answer my questions that I had as her English was not that good. Regardless, I went ahead and ordered the carnitas plate and a water. The food came back pretty quick, and the plate looked appetizing, the refried beans were sort of orange which I wasn't super crazy about, but you know hey, sometimes these things happen. Happen. They were tasty. On a side note, they brought chips and salsa, the chips were fairly bland and the salsa was sort of pedestrian. Didn't really have much spice to it at all. The carnitas itself was well cooked, but had almost zero flavor to it. They smother it in onions, and that helped. But you know as well as I do that. When carnitas is cooked right, it is a mouthful of flavor. On the plate it also came with rice. The refried beans, a little spoonful of guacamole and some Pico de gallo. I ordered the flour tortillas as I wanted to make three larger tacos, which I did. To be honest, the only thing that saved the day was the hot sauce on the table. Adding that to the carnitas actually gave it some flavor and worked out pretty well. Bottom line? If I'm ever back this way again, I don't think I will be stopping here. I did not try any of the other things on the menu but the one I had was just pretty average. Your mileage may vary.

The store is really bright and well-designed and kept immaculate and well-organized. The produce was all fresh and I saw nary a blemish on any of them. Same with the meat/butcher section. They have cute little cars in front of carts for little ones. They bag your groceries and carry out your food to your car. They had a good coupon book and had some inexpensive options for every item.

The service is usually good, usually possible to find an employee who can help you locate something you can't, they are open to stocking an item they don't have if they realize enough interest to justify shelf space. Paul is very friendly, but the friendliness level of the check-out staff can be rather hit-and-miss, some can't find a smile, some can't manage a "hi". Not as much love as when Willie assured us , "We love your here at Willies!". That's probably also the reason for taking unfair advantage of their fortunate position as the only major grocery store within an hours drive of Morris. I think we can all understand the business sense of "get it while the getting is good" but charging 3+ times the price of any competitor goes beyond that. The customers lost some things that Willie's offered pre-Covid, things that were never brought back, some that had always been and are now lost to the past (paper bags is one with lots of complaints). Now I hear we're going to lose Pump Perks. Paul shouldn't lose sight of what could happen if another grocer ever did move into town. Yes, we appreciate having Super Valu in town, and, yes, we will pay the oft exorbitant prices (the reality of monopolies), but, maybe, in return, Willie's could bring back something customers have lost? Maybe keep the Pump Perks or bring back the paper bags. Something tangible to show your appreciation for every customer's contribution to your continued success, something that says, "Remember, we STILL love you here at Willie's"!
