There was a wedding AND a bridal shower occuring at the same time. There is upstairs to the restaurant and the wedding was happening up there. There is also an outdoor porch area where the bridal shower was occuring. Most of the seating inside was high top seating. All the wines are made in house and there was a large selection! Our server (who may also be the manager/owner?) was very kind and explained some of the wines for us. We got 2 of their flights and they were all excellent. The Library Collection has some unique drinks. They do sell most of their bottles to go (pic of pricing in this review!). They also make food and they all smelled great. I would love to go back and try more wines and some of their food!

We got a Chef's Whim board which was fun and filling. We also got the Winemakers and Library flights. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines. I'm not giving them 4 stars for a few reasons. I wish I could build my own flight because each flight choice had wines I didn't like. I also wish there were more menu items. And, the bench seating cushions were worn through almost to the stuffing which was really surprising that they would let them get that bad at a restaurant like this. That said, we had a great meal with a great server. I don't think we'll be back though.

Removed a lot of the fuss. 2. The wineries chosen were really nice. We went to La Grange, Blue Valley, and Aspen Dale. Aspen Dale was the most thorough and interesting, although the view at Blue Valley was photo central. No shade to La Grange though, they were nice too. 3. Doni, the owner/driver, is really nice and engaging. She called the day before to confirm, and was just really cool overall. It's a new company, so I'd expect them to maybe add winery spots or more options, but for the money, it's fun and a good value. (Also, it sure as hell beats driving out there ourselves. Just sayin'.)

She made sure everything was in order and perfect for our day. Our guide Andy was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable about the different wines and provided lots of great information and struck the perfect balance between amping up the party vibes and stepping back so we could have a little girl time. Everything about our tour was a great experience! You absolutely cannot beat the door to door service. I will definitely look to book with them again for future events or just for fun to see the other wineries/counties they partner with!

When I called in, McKenna stepped in and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct and exactly how I wanted it. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire interaction. It's rare to come across service that feels both professional and personal, but McKenna truly delivered. His positive attitude and attention to detail made all the difference. I truly appreciate the extra effort -- it did not go unnoticed. Thank you for such excellent customer service!

Honestly, the curb appeal was missing something. Although my navigation announced my arrival, the actual restaurant was not visually clear to me. The location sits on the corner of the block, but the exterior décor is a bit on the darker side, which is probably why I initially overlooked it. Once I entered, the vibe felt warm and welcoming. The host pointed out my business partner, and our waitress, Saniyah, immediately introduced herself and kindly took my drink order. Due to the business nature of the meeting, I didn't take much time to review the menu. However, both my business partner and Saniyah recommended the Fried Chicken sandwich, it was well worth the recommendation. That sandwich, coupled with a side salad and their balsamic dressing, made for a perfect lunch combination. Saniyah was very attentive, the food was great, and the vibe was smooth and relaxing, quite suitable for a business meeting or lunch with friends or colleagues. Aside from the parking situation, B&P Anacostia is a great option for meetings or dining in the area. Recommendation level: If you are comfortable with the Anacostia area, I definitely recommend B&P. Note: My apologies for not having photos of the food. I was there on business and did not intend to post a review. However, Saniyah deserves a positive mention & Yelp truly helps drive business.

I have attended a couple DTD events in the past (Cherry Blossom Beer Festival and Red White and Brew) with little to no problems, however my recent run in has left me disappointed. I bought tickets to the 2022 Clover Beer Festival with ticketing being handled through the Fever Ticket App. About a week before the event, out of the blue, Drink the District cancels the festival. No email explanation or apologies, only a notification on my Fever App that my tickets had been cancelled and the Facebook event vanished overnight. Adding insult to injury, Drink the District refunded my tickets with Fever App vouchers, which only can be used with Fever events and the value expires in 6 months. Finally, Fever kept their $16 worth of service fees. This is absolutely unacceptable on all fronts.

Some did accept credit card. 2) Was a "beer fest" with only 12 stands and ~22 beers on tap. 3) There was sand/dirt in the ice mixed in for rails 4) Sound system was not so good; did not project well to half the venue 5) Speaking of the venue, it was tiny! Definitely had a much better time at the beer fest in National's Park. Furthermore, they are located a moderate hike from the metro station vs. the other venue is just 2 blocks away. The only positive part of this experience was there was a lot more seating near the food carts than competitors' venues. The venue they hold this event in is awkward, small vs. at the nationals park which offers much more privacy and space. The biggest let down is perhaps the "beer fest." This is a blatant lie. The other events I've been to have over 50 stands with over 100 (that's right, ONE HUNDRED) different tastings. I was so disappointed I left early. I tried to give their events a shot, but now I'm one very sad beer lover. :(
