My "room" was the entire upper wing of the top floor complete with a full kitchen and a view of the lake below. Breakfast in the dining room was very German complete with sliced meats, a nice selection of cheese, and surprisingly good croissants. The dining room is a semi-circular glass walled space with lake views and dappled light streaming in through the forrest which makes for a spectacular breakfast experience. Dinner was also spectacular because the food was so good. My pork roast was superb, some of the best I have ever had. Service was spot on. I even had the chance to practice my German. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and dine for an American who lives the California life...
