My nails looked nice until i went to a different salon to soak off my acrylics and my nail tech told me this salon used MMA. MMA IS ILLEGAL to use. I called on a Wednesday and asked if they take walk-ins, the woman who answered the phone said yes. I showed up at 3pm with 3 other relatives. The place looked busy so I asked the woman in the first chair (Sharon, the owner) if they had time to accomodate 4 mani-pedis. I was skeptic but she said yes and instructed us to pick our colors and have a seat. While we waited, I saw her working on 2 acrylic sets at the same time... She would file down the nails on one person and then jump to the other chair and paint someone elses nails. She kept going between the 2 clients, which is a sanitary concern because she's working on multiple people without gloves, or washing her hands, or cleaning her tools. She also answered her phone and told people they were busy, yet kept telling walk-in clients to stay. She would take multiple walk-ins, despite having clients with appointments coming in. I respect the hustle, but it's unprofessional to have everyone waiting if you know you can't accomodate them all, especially for people with appointments booked. I waited for 1.5 hours to be seen, and I only stayed because I had small children with me and wasn't going to haul them around in rhe cold to find another salon. I also think it's unethical to overwork your employees like that, churning out people with no breaks. I saw alot in the time I was there (from 3pm-6:30pm). Every review is for Sharon, she's the owner. She is very talented, but everyone else falls short. I asked for a french ombre and got stuck with a nail technician who had never done one before, but of course, she said she could do it because it was an extra $10 on top of the $25 gel price. I would've appreciated if she just told me she couldn't do it. It came out horrible, and because it was done in gel and it was close to closing time, they refused to do a color change. I gave 2 stars: 1 for the spa-like feel and 1 for agreeing to redo my nails. They lose points for wait-time, cost, and making me come back the next day... The owner also lies below in her responses. She said a mani-pedi is $27, but the price listed at the salon is $37. Overall, poor customer service. read more

This has got to be one of the worst nail salons I've ever been to in Brooklyn. I went in wanting a gel manicure and left with a regular manicure because halfway through, I felt like my nail tech wouldn't do a good, and even safe, job. She was rushing to clean and maintain my nails, which was the first red flag. Didn't even use water, oil, or hand cream to prep my nails, which is what A LOT of other nail salons usually do. Funny thing because before she started working on my nails, she said they were very healthy and long (which they are, naturally). She was also incredibly harsh and abrasive with her technique and the tools she was using, so much so that my cuticles were literally bleeding! As I'm writing this, my cuticles are still stinging, smh. At that point, I was horrified and in pain, and had to nicely ask her to please stop and do a regular manicure. After this request, she began joking around and laughing with her colleagues in front of my face, which made me feel very uncomfortable and like I was the butt of what they were saying. So unprofessional. Not only did she do a horrendous job fixing my cuticles, but she also quite simply didn't seem to care about doing a good job. I had to tell her to apply some oil, and when she did, again with the rushing. Thank God I only had to pay $12 (with no tip) for this monstrous experience. HORRIFYING and RECKLESS. I will NEVER return and you should think twice about entering if you'd like a safe and enjoyable manicure. read more

Whole experience feels a bit rush and one of my finger is injured from them. We made an appointment at 7, an hour before their close, feels a bit rush cause the guy who's helping me didn't allow enough time for the nails to dry before applying second layer.. Worst of all, when he is scraping off and cutting the skin from edges of my nail, he cut too deep on my index finger. More than once, I told him it hurts. But he continue to do his thing. He cut off the edge way deeper than requires. I feel the pain when he apply the nail polish, cause the wound is fresh. Never going back again. Don't get the small guy to help you. I didn't make a fuss about it at the salon, but definitely won't be coming back. The outcome of the nail looks nice tho but terrible service. read more

Ok so if you have never been to this salon before you need to get there ASAP! I've been going to the salon for about two years now, I went in one day out of a blue and never went back to my old salon ever again. I also live all the way in mill basin and still travel to see my girls...the first moment I walked in it was the best experience ever and I'm still treated the same as I was the first time I walked in. Everything is very clean. They are just so pleasant to be around. Everyone is so caring and nice. The service is amazing that I truly grew a bond with them...have said that. The work has always been up to par. I get gel manicure and spa pedicure every time I go. You must get the mini spa pedi. It's great! My nail tech is Eva but everyone does amazing work. My experience here was so-so. The pedicure was fine for the price. The manicure, however, was a difference story. The nail tech that was assigned to me was clearly new and inexperienced, as I had a broken nail and she didn't know how to do tip extensions. Another tech had to step in really quickly to do it for me. I asked for a stiletto-shaped manicure and the original nail tech didn't cut my natural nail to shape before she started filing, and ended up making me bleed from overfiling. She apologized and moved on. I also showed her a reference picture of the style I wanted, which was gradient with glitter on the tips. She struggled to dab polish onto a sponge and onto my nail for maybe 3 minutes before I told her to stop and just make it solid color. I would still probably come back as it's close to my house and the price is decent, though I would definitely want someone with experience next time. read more

Pre covid, this was my usual spot for my mani and pedi's. The place WAS clean with lots of colors to choose from and majority of the staff were friendly and attentive, except the 2 big bosses. I live 1 block away, which made it super convenient plus they offered great service. After months of closing from the pandemic, prices increased which was expected to make up for their losses like all the other businesses. BUT...service and cleanliness which once made me a loyal customer, went out the window. I'm so disappointed. During this pandemic, I'd expect them to clean the counter after each customer, that didn't happen. I was rushed out Bc there was another customer waiting. The lady barely let me nails dry and had the nerve to give me the moisturizing glove in a packet and told to do it myself!! I had nail polish still on my fingers with glue stuck to my skin. What happened to the service they once had??? I am so disappointed. She didn't deserve a tip, but as the better person, I gave her the usual amount I would give and walked out. I am honestly so impressed by this place. I stopped by on Wednesday to get acrylic. Unfortunately, they did not carry acrylic. However , they have a better alternative, which is their dip powder tips. I was really impressed that the nail technician took a lot of time and effort in each nail. The results were remarkable. I really wanted to love this place and I did for the most part. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I went in for an SNS manicure, regular pedicure and eye brows. The pedicure was amazing, my eyebrows are already growing in 3 days later and they usually take 3+ weeks to grow back. I was really confused with the way they did the SNS manicure. The top coat they used was not shiny at all and left bubbles after a few hours. I feel like it wasn't professionally made by a company. 3 days later and my nails are already cracking. My SNS manicures usually last 4-5 weeks but it looks like I will have to go elsewhere to get a new one just after 3 days read more

They do well with regular mani and pedi but basically is a bait and switch place. If you want nail art or designs, don't even bother with this place. It's a scam where they would yes you to death but can't give you the product you want. I've called ahead to ask if they do ombré and they said yes. I arrived and once again show the lady a picture of what I wanted and I asked again can she do it. She said yes. After soaking my nails and I've sat down, she told me to pick the colors. I wanted the same colors/style as the picture I showed her. She doesn't even have those colors in the store! So I picked whatever is closest to match it... what can I do? She cut my nails and soaked it already. She started to do my nails and then said she can't do the way I wanted. I was so confused because she told me she can when I arrived. Then I said just try and do half this and half that and she said she can't, she doesn't know how. At that point my heart just broke because I think I was pretty clear and reasonable at the first place. She assured me she could and then later don't produce the product I wanted. I have to take my loses. It's just so upsetting because it is my birthday next week and I just wanted to have pretty nails. People should not go to the extreme and trick others just to make money. read more

I came here for a gel mani and regular pedi, as this place was recommended to me by someone. My nail technician did a terrible job on both. She was cutting my cuticle so deeply it was causing me pain and nicked me about 6 times and caused them to bleed. I explained to her to not cut it so deeply and she was hurting me but she didn't really listen and continued on, even when I continued pulling back and wincing in pain. You would think after she nicked me hard enough to see blood the first time that she would go more gentle on the other nails to prevent other wounds, but NO. I am also someone who is prone to infections so having 6 wounds on my fingers and cuticles made me very uneasy and worried about infection. When I went to pay for my services, I paid the woman at the front (who I believe is the owner) with a credit card and then asked for change of a larger bill so I can tip my nail technician. When she saw how much I was preparing to tip my nail tech she reprimanded me that it was not enough tip. I am a huge believer in properly tipping for services, however, when the quality of the service was THAT bad, the tip should reflect that horrible quality. I actually thought I was being generous seeing as though it was the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. I was taken aback that she had even tried to tell me how much I should tip my nail tech. I immediately explained to her my experience and SHOWED her that my cuticles were still bleeding from the terrible job the nail tech did. She apologized profusely but did not offer to give me a discount. To top it all off, a few days later, and the gel is peeling on most of my nails. I will definitely not be coming back here again, to say the least. read more
