I have bought a couple things here, mostly dress shirts. This isn't the typical second hand store…read morewith used clothes. It's more of an outlet and sells both new and used. There are two stores. One is more used clothing and the other is leftovers from high-end designers. I've bought shirts here from Balenciaga, Etro, Prada or Gucci. The selection varies. At times you won't find much and at other times, everything seems to be available. If you are in town, it's easy to reach and is always worth a look in. They have clothing, accessories, shoes (less so) bags as well es jewelry for men and women. They don't carry children's clothing. You have to spend the time looking through the things but there are real gems to be found. Just as an example....a Balenciage dress shirt I purchased cost over 200 Euro in the store and I paid 50 Euro here. Prada or Hermes leather coats which cost thoudands of Euro at retail can be had here for less than 500 Euro and if you're lucky for 100 to 20o Euro.

Somehow I have THAT weird feeling that I don't want to wear clothing that's been worn by other people no matter how many times you've washed it or how designer and expensive it was before. Blame my childhood with my three older sisters passing clothes to me, perhaps. Furnitures, knicks knacks, kitchen stuff - on the other hand - I love them second hand. There's some vintage quality to it and some stuff that you would never find them again at most shops It is with sadness that I must say that this shop is not for me since it stocks mostly clothing. Don't get me wrong, they have HUGE clothing selection and some pretty good ones too. Female on the top floor, male on the ground floor. With the location being on the side street of main shopping street Spitalerstrasse, it's perfect. but then again, it's not something for me, so adios second hand shop!

Yes and they still will cost like 100,00 or 200,00 Euros. You will find Classic Burberry Trench-coats or finest shirts. And if you not behave like an typical tourist, the owner can be a great help and will find you nearly everything you need - but be careful. I'll be checking in regularly to see what new gems he's acquired. The owner is quite helpful. He has good eyes (new my size looking at me) and good ears (he knew I was English-speaking right away) and good sense (he seemed to know what I was looking for after I tried something on). The prices are a bit high, but it's understandable as much of what he has you won't find anywhere else, except at an estate sale.

Edit #2:…read more Okay, totally changing my review. The shopkeepers here are among the friendliest I've encountered in Hamburg, totally helpful, really nice and friendly. I was impressed when one of the employees basically ransacked the back room to find shoes my size and brought in another employee with a ladder. This is, of course, something you'd want to expect - but the willingness to help from the folks here and the welcoming smile is something which not many shops in Hamburg provide. Edit: Bumping up a star here after finding out that: 1) They carry Cheap Monday brand jeans as an alternative to overpriced Lee. 2) Their own-label shoe range is quite good with great quality for the price (which certainly cannot be said about retailers such as H&M). I picked up a gorgeous pair of well constructed patent-pleather loafers for 42eu. Great value! -- Original Review -- I don't understand this shop, nor those who shop here. Racks full of clothing and accessories better suited for second hand, prices which are disproportionately high and likely artificially inflated. Reminds me of Old Navy in the 90s, but for upper middle-class hipsters who would only wear any of this stuff out of irony before retiring it to, well, an actual second-hand shop. Only bit of joy here is the "Urban Renewal" section, which features new clothing from second hand materials in decent prices.
