They were able to schedule us quickly for a tech appointment to get them clipped. We were taken back to a room immediately, waited no more than a minute for the techs to come to the room. They were very sweet with my fearful dog as well as my toddlers. Nails were quickly clipped and paw pads cleaned up where they were punctured. In and out in less than 10 minutes. A different place I had called initially was telling me they would have to put him under anesthesia and pay an emergency visit fee before they even saw how minimally ingrown they were. Really appreciate a vet that evaluates and charges appropriately!!

If you want bloodwork or a specific screening, just ask. If you want homeopathy, or dietary advice, just ask. The front desk staff have always been kind, courteous and very knowledgeable to us. We've seen our animals handled very compassionately and with their best interest at heart. We drive from 1 hour away to work with them, and because of that distance, I've learned to clarify when making the appointment what it is I'm looking for and need for my pet. Sometimes they can handle what's needed just by phone, and sending stuff in the mail, so the drive isn't always necessary. If you are travelling from far away, I highly recommend that you call before making an in person appointment, and ask if it's something they can address by phone first. If it's not, then the drive is warranted, and you can always request that you have all the bloodwork, manual exam, and medical testing you want for your pet when making the appointment.

We traveled 2 hours for this visit and the vet didn't even give her an exam. Didn't listen to her heart, didn't check in her ears or paws or anus. He graciously answered many of our questions but instead of excusing himself to move on to his next patient after our scheduled time was up he instead kept us longer and we had no knowledge of it as there was clock in the room. So we were billed for more than what was scheduled. That was unfair to us. We also were billed more for a nosode than what his assistant told me the charge would be. Because we paid cash for it, they were not willing to reimburse us the difference after we had already come home. He told us that he would get back to us on the other questions he didn't have time to answer but we never heard back from him. After a week I contacted the office and spoke with Emily who said she'd find out when he was going to respond and would call me back the same day. I never heard back from her and after expressing our disappointment with the visit the staff have now blocked all communication with me and the doctor won't respond to my texts. Very unprofessional of a business to act in this manner. We now regret the time and money that was spent for a visit we got very little from.
