We came in around 9 PM after a whole day hike in the North twin River for pre-hunting survey. The bar owner informed us that they were closing at 10 PM, so that was a bummer! We decided to leave to go to camp and agreed to come back the day after. We came in at 2 PM the next day and met Robyn (bartender/owner). Such an amazing person. We played pool and ordered a bunch of drinks. I ordered Long Island ice tea which Robyn made so effortlessly flawless! At par to what I get in Vegas or maybe even better. This was very impressive! Tom got tap beer which I believe was from Great Basin Brewery - I notice he loves this brewery a lot and usually picks this whenever this comes up as a choice. The inside decor is great. Taxidermy of deers, elks, mountain goat and many more (I wish I took pictures - I definitely will when we go back on October). The bathrooms were very clean and well kept and decorated to the theme. They don't have an attached kitchen to order food but it wasn't a deal breaker, we came for the drinks and the conversation and we got what we came for! Indeed it does have one around back and when I got there a Tesla was charging. Note that this is a level 2 charger. The owner has a Tesla but he just lets people use the charger at no cost. That's super cool because 395 can be a challenge if you're driving EV. Range anxiety contributes to appetite and it really is nice to be able to get a few electrons flowing while you go inside and have a bite However most people will want to go charge at the Shell station where they have both Tesla superchargers and Electrify America. There is a sign on the front door that says, "21 and older." Well, I meet that requirement. But, I didn't get in the door for more than 30sec, when a young man that works at the bar, said that I needed ID. I asked him, "Do I look like I am under 21?" He said it didn't matter, that the sign out front says 21 and older, and I need ID to prove it. So I went back to the parking lot to get the ID from my car, and I showed him my ID. I also suggested, in summary, that he might be less curt about compliance. He interrupted me and said that I argued with him when he demanded ID. I tried to remind him that I only asked a question when he demanded ID. It was impossible to have a conversation with him, as it seems like he didn't want to listen, but just bark orders. I made a bee-line to the men's room. As I exited the men's room, and before I could order anything, he tossed me out of the building. Luckily, I took my business elsewhere.
