This place no longer exists but the Milton scrapple recipe is still produced by the Kirby and Holloway co., of southern Delaware. Born and raised in Delaware on breakfast scrapple, this is by far the best. A slight spicy, sweet, mealy flavor. Absolutely delicious. The closest place I have found it is at a cute little old fashioned grocery market in Lewes, Delaware called Lloyd's. Why people in south Jersey prefer pork roll as the breakfast meat of choice is beyond me. But then again, these are people who continually vote for higher taxes. read more

Absolutely the very best sausage. We always have a supply in our freezer. I cook a big batch then freeze in meal size portions. I find it lasts so much better cooked then frozen. read more

I drive all the way from Baltimore to local Delaware stores just to stock up on this sausage. It's my favorite and I hoard it. It's delicious and not stuffed full of gristle or loaded with fat.
