Stopped by while visiting the BF's parents. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. It's always nerve-racking when you go into a new place to train. You never know if someone's going to roll extra hard with you, break your arm or give you the benefit of doubt because you're a white belt, ;) lol... everyone here was nice and made you feel welcomed.
The coaches were great and very knowledgeable. They went into depth about the drill they're teaching and was very specific about how to execute a submission. What was different about this place, in my opinion, was that it's the little things about a coach that makes a huge difference in your training. I appreciate the fact that the coach gave you those little tips and tricks that ever so slightly will tweak your performance and help you to finish a submission or get out of an uncomfortable position..
Great place if you're in the area.
PS. Milton was there too! :) Lucky day! read more
