Midway through the visit, he abruptly stood up and left the room, claiming he was being paged. In this day and age, it seemed unusual, as he had no cellphone on him and there was no overhead announcement. It felt more like an excuse to leave. He spent less than five minutes with my mother and did not leave room to ask any further questions. On a positive note, the medical assistant was very kind and professional, which helped offset some of the experience. Update: I received a phone call by the Care Dermatology staff regarding this google review. Based on this information, they informed me that my mom is not welcomed in their practice and that she is being discharged. As a healthcare professional, I have never encountered a situation in which a patient was discharged from a practice solely based on a Google review. Rather than attempting service recovery, the office contacted us with a threatening tone, which is entirely unprofessional. Knowing that this is how their customers are treated, I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

We ended up moving it to the following Saturday. As we arrived on time, we filled our paperwork and had photos taken of each of us. We were placed in a waiting room and told we would be seen shortly. After 65 minutes passed. we decided to leave. We walked past the receptionist, oblivious to our presence. I let her know treating us like that was rude and unprofessional as we walked out. No followups. no phone calls, no apologies for wasting four hours, driving in from Ormond Beach. I will never go back.
