There's a large garden out back which is perfect in the summer. Even when it's raining you can still sit outside and enjoy a drink in the covered terrace. The restaurant area has a cosy feel and the sunday lunch is particularly outstanding. The cheese board is specially nice and comes with a good cheese to cracker ratio (most important). It's a perfect place for a quiet drinks with friends or a family meal, though I do have to say that on Friday and Saturday nights it does get quite busy!

This Inn turned pub mainly caters to barge travelers who motor up and down the canal between Oxford and Rugby. Only main gripe was that the service was REALLY slow. It took 65 minutes for us to receive our food (3 people). But when we did, we were not disappointed at all. It's hard to say bad things about a place when the food is so darn good. Fish and Chips, Buffalo Burger, and Fish Pie are absolute winners. The owner is originally from the Netherlands and very accommodating.
