The prayers, psalms, songs and readings are always from the bible both the new and old Testament. The Mass is the same sacrifice Christ himself offered with His disciples when he said "This is my body, This is my blood. Do this in remembrance of me". Walking to a Catholic Church and expecting to understand what's happening is like a non swimmer wading into an Olympic size pool and expecting to wade through it. Everyone is super friendly and there's multiple connection groups to build relationships and your spiritual walk outside of Sunday services :) They also host a wide array of small to large events, including the largest Father's Day show n shine car show in the city! The music at the start is upbeat and very engaging, you can sing along without fear of your voice being judged as it's nice and loud all around. Once the service starts you will get a meaningful message filled with moments of laughter through jokes or stories. The delivery of the scripture is done so well that it relates to today's world and is easy to understand. I can't pick who is better between both father and son pastor, they are both so good at sharing God's word and keeping my attention. I am blessed to have found this church. They also have many different connect groups to attend throughout the week.

It's far enough in that it's very quiet and peaceful with a small paved lane that leads you in. This place is so much bigger than it looks. The first thing you see coming in is the church where regular worship takes place. Around the back of the building is where you find the education area. There's an auditorium which was hosting a quilt conference while I was here. There's classrooms lining the halls on two levels. There is also a full cafeteria with home made goodies from local bakers from the church and clubs here. There is lots of options for both carnivore and vegan alike with full kitchen staff. The kitchen is huge! The food was amazing. A home cooked meal with jello and fruit for dessert! We had muffins, cinnamon buns, cookies and cake still warm from the oven delivered to our class for snacks. I great place to hold a retreat, conference or class. It was very busy all weekend with lots going on. The place is well cared for and maintained with lots of flowers everywhere. There's a library also that seems focused more on religious reading material.

They do a different theme each month with a themed craft most days. They also have story time, free play time, carpet time each day and field trips at least once a month. They go outside as often as they can with our silly Alberta weather. I feel like this preschool has prepared him so well for French Immersion kindergarten and made him such a little independent boy.
