It was a well known fact that she was an adulterer, having having had another employees' husband's baby and multiple sexual encounters with fellow employees. While I was prohibited from coming in contact with her, nothing prevented her from entering my office by herself. On my second to last night, the nurses wanted to have a party for me. When one nurse jokingly said she would happily jump out of the cake, I replied, that it was likely inappropriate. A nurse told the chief nurse that I had made the remark. The administration took her word over mine and I was let go on the spot without speaking to any other nurses in my behalf. I lawyered up for $2500. The hospital refused to acknowledge my lawyer's multiple requests to meet with them. My lawyer was willing to represent me in court, but it would have cost me most of my eight weeks salary. They pride themselves for being a family. Unfortunately, an extremely dysfunctional one at that. I served my country honorably for twenty years and as a civilian nurse for another twenty years with multiple accolades, including Nurse of the year in my specialty at a large teaching hospital on the west coast. I wouldn't recommend this toxic hospital to anyone.

The only complaint I have about this hospital is one time I waited 3 hours in the ER & left. Other than that I have not had a problem with this hospital. Always been well taken care of by everyone. I would go back again if needed.

The emergency room, unfortunately with what has transpired with my shoulder I have been in a few times to ensure that the chest pain wasn't something worse, the urgent care down the road wouldn't see me and insisted I go here, so I did. 1 visit, the nurse at checkin was not near her desk, I waited and waited (chest pain, supposed to be taken as serious) and she finally waddles out (I had been there 10-15 minutes or so) and sees people she knows who has just came in, started taking them back to check in area when security pointed out that I had been there and why I was in. The nurse with her sassy over sprayed short hair gave me a funny look then said some with me. As I did she looked in her work area where she had not been for some time and made a snarky noise then said, hang on someone swapped my chair, I gotta go find MY chair and wandered back to the actual ER. I simply said "are you f'ing serious" and she gave me a look and kept going. I just went home. I wasn't worried about the hart and such and think it was overkill to send me there due to how torn up m shoulder was, so I went home. Another time, I had a nice little concussion and was super dizzy and such, was sent in to ensure nothing bad. They did my scans and the person who did them saved them to another patients chart. It took hours before it was fixed, I sat there all damn night. Anyway, some of the staff are GREAT, some not so much (yes you sassy short hair waddling lady) but I don't plan to be back regardless.
