Last weekend (3/16/13) I threw a birthday party for my 4 and 6 year old kids at a party place in Agoura Hills. I wanted to have a coffee/latte cart and was looking for about a week for the right person. I came across Millie's Coffee Expresso Catering from Yelp and Wayne was so wonderful. He responded to my request immediately and he drove over 50 miles one way for a 2 hour party. He got there early enough to set up where he was able to serve his awesome drinks right when my party started and served till the party ended. All the parents thanked me for having a coffee/latte cart and I am so happy that Millie's Coffee Espresso will be in my contacts for my all corporate and private parties!!! We had a psuedo-coffee themed wedding and wanted to host an espresso bar in place of just brewed coffee at our wedding. Having reached out to several vendors, Wayne/Millie's Coffee was the only one that made the cut. We asked a ton of questions, and he answered all of them promptly. Our main requirement was that he made a good plain italian style cappuccino ~ 6oz, topped with latte art, and he definitely delivered! Our guests loved both his customer service and coffee (not just the cappuccino but all the flavored drinks as well). He was also very accommodating, for example we preferred to use organic clover milk over regular milk, at one point we were thinking about switching chocolate, etc. read more

We had Milly's at my Mom's 60th birthday party last month and the drip coffee was such a hit! The flavors were great and gourmet and Wayne was an incredibly friendly and professional barrista. Also, Wayne was very responsive via email leading up to the event, timely arriving at the event and was one of the last to leave the night of. My husband and I hosted a cocktail party early January. We wanted to have coffee, but didn't want to be responsible with brewing coffee and having our guests dispense it out of Starbucks urns didn't sound appealing. I saw a business card for a competing company and thought this sounded like a fantastic idea, but their pricing was really expensive. I found Millie's through Yelp and reached out to them because their pricing was really reasonable ($375 for under 60 people for 3 hours!). I communicated with Wayne and he was such a pleasure to work with as he was really understanding and flexible. Night of the coffee cart was such a HUGE hit. It was a lot of fun watching Wayne make his creations and the taste was spot on. I got so many compliments on thinking to include this in our party and we had a lot of people asking him for a hot chocolate and then wandering over to our bartender for a shot of Amaretto :) He showed up on time and was very professional the entire time. I go to coffee shops frequently...I love the smell, the vibe, and of course the great taste of coffee! Imagine bringing that whole experience to your event...that is exactly what Millie's does. I was at a work-related event and Millie's was catering - this was the first time I had experienced catered coffee...and it was pretty awesome. If you are content with Starbucks Coffee then you have not tried good coffee. This is the best catered coffee you can get in Southern California. The owner WAYNE is on top of his service and has a passion for coffee. Moreover, he only utilizes the freshest and highest quality beans for his brews. I was fortunate enough to find him on two separate events. Both Times the coffee blew me away. Wayne's coffee rivals that of Keane Coffee. Millie's coffee is a must have for any corporate, or private event. Also if you get the chance, be sure to ask him how he chose his company name. It's a great story.
