Millers took care of some overgrowth at my townhouse in Saw Grass Plantation. I had several large trees backing up to my property that needed to be trimmed. They provided me an estimate prior to the work and were able to get the job done within a week from my request. They had a highly professional, very hard working and considerate crew. All of these traits are very important to me me when I need to hire someone for this type of work. I highly recommend them for any tree trimming or removal. They are tree pros!!! read more

I got a quote and the interaction went very well. However, they added me to their email marketing list without my consent. After I said that on a Google review, Clay contacted me asking me to change my review. I politely and directly said I would be willing to change my review if they stopped sending people unsolicited marketing emails. He mostly* refused, called me names, and acted passive-aggressively. *To his credit, he agreed to change the website forms to have the "send me marketing emails" box unchecked by default. read more

Miller's Tree Service - Zoom to see orange spray paint - Tree Services Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

I had eight trees removed from my yard. Millers gave me a very fair and reasonable quote. On the day scheduled, they were on time, polite and well-informed, efficient, focused, professional in EVERY way, and did the most AMAZING job!!! My yard looks amazing. They removed all the trees, ground the stumps, removed all the debris, raked around the entire back yard, and blew my whole yard after they were done! I am impressed with every aspect of this business. Clay was so nice and helpful. He listened to everything I needed and made it happen. The men who worked for Millers were outstanding. I've never seen a better team anywhere!! Hard working, focused, diligent, thorough, all- together amazing professionals!! I will always use Millers from now on!!! Thrilled, Karin B. read more

I used Millers several times over the years. I am always blown away with how much they are able to get done in one day. Very professional and leave the area cleaner than when they got there. I love how they included stump grinding in the overall price. We went with the flat rate and got the crew the whole day. They basically take down as many trees as they could get to. Thank you! Tip: it never hurts to buy the crew lunch, that extra stump you had for years might get taken care of. read more

Over the years I've dealt with 5 other tree companies. Especially after the May tornadoes that left me a little traumatized. Millers is by far the best. They are very respectful and pay attention to detail. Their price is comparable to the others. I appreciate the assembly line they have going on. Besides the trees being gone, I can't even tell that they were here. No damage to property or even bushes. No water bottles or trash tossed in debris piles like other companies have done before bc there were no piles laying around....truck on site. I told them I'm not one to leave reviews, but I felt that I needed to this time. I feel safer and relieved that this worry literally hanging over my head has been lifted. I cant thank them enough! My only regret is not calling them first. Highly recommend. On to the next project read more

Fantastic job. Excellent team coordination. Professional folks. Left the area completely free of debris. Recommend 100 %. William read more

Company representative was rude and abusive towards me because I got a different company to do our work. Miller's provided no estimate, no contract and no date/time of service with no further explanation of service. Then, just showed up to cut trees (and the rep wasn't even there)! Because of this I hired a professional contractor who did excellent work for a reasonable price. Thanks for helping me get great service for a reasonable price! read more

These guys are amazing; couldn't be more impressed with them and their work. I have some Sweet viburnum bushes in the backyard that are 20-25ft tall and they had gotten out of control and desperately needed to be trimmed back on all sides. Miller's came out within about a week to do the job, had it all trimmed up in under an hour and their cleanup job was absolutely spotless. Everyone on their crew was nice and professional and I'll definitely use them again. Their rate for the trimming was very reasonable compared to other companies as well. Highly recommend! read more

I live next door where Miller's Tree Service was taking down a pine tree, as they were cutting down the tree of course some debris was falling in my yard, but they never came to my house to pickup all the debris. To make matters worse once the tree was cut down the crew stacked all the debris in my front yard! Not one person came to my front door and ask if it would be okay if they stacked the neighbors debris in my front yard! I went outside and did take pictures of all the debris. I just had lawn service done about 45 minutes before Miller's Tree Service was next door. In my opinion Miller's Tree Service doesn't care if debris falls on neighbors property nor do they care where their crew stacks the debris in a neighbors yard! I did call Miller's Tree Service 3 times about the matter, I also called the project manager. After 4 hours Miller's Tree Service came by to pickup the debris in the front yard and the backyard even though they had left some debris in the backyard. Miller's Tree Service NEVER HAD PERMISSION from me to stack the neighbors Debris in my front yard! I would NEVER recommend Miller's Tree Service to anyone when they will stack yard debris on others property. read more

In one day, MIller's removed five 100+' pines and removed a shorter one for us. While several were surrounded by bushes, the trees were removed with no damage to the shrubs. Their expertise and efficiency were incredible to watch. Even after grinding up the stumps, they made sure that the mess was cleaned up and left little sign that they had even been here. They far exceeded my expectations and were very reasonable priced. I would highly recommend this crew. read more

Excellent work and service. The lead foreman walked the job before hand to make sure he understood what I wanted it, and walked it with me again after substantial completion and cleanup, to make sure I was happy and had gotten exactly what I wanted. Great job! Highly recommend to anyone! read more

Spoke with a gentleman who was supposed to come by my property and provide me with an estimate on the removal of 5 Florida Pines. He was a no show, no call, no follow up. Unfortunately didn't even get his name. Apparently Miller's Tree Service doesn't need my business and thankfully I didn't give them mine. read more

Couldn't be more impressed with the Miller's team from the front office to the on-site crew. We had five large pines and a river birch removed in about two hours, including grinding the stumps and removing all debris. It was like watching a ballet. It was one fluid process from the tree being cut at the base, lifted over the fence, trimmed, cut and finally being loaded into the truck. The entire crew was professional, organized, informative, efficient, safe, and proud of their work. I say proud of their work, because they left the areas where they worked cleaner and tidier than when they arrived. The areas were raked, pine straw was not only put back in the beds, it was re-fluffed and looked like it was laid for the first time. In addition, the price was extremely reasonable and fair. read more

Had work done yesterday. There was a delay in their arrival of which they kept me informed. When they arrived, they discussed the work to be done with me and then got to work! They are professional and and very capable. When they were finished, they cleaned everything up to the point that I think it was cleaner than they found it! Lol! I will hire them again without hesitation. read more

I had Miller come to my house for an estimate on removing 3 trees and trimming oak tree limbs over the house. One week later no estimate. I called and was promised a response. Nothing. Called AGAIN. Nothing. Finally hired AAA. Very disappointed. Unprofessional. read more

The team that came out to remove the trees were great. Approximately 8-10 men and they all work together great. No standing around wondering what to do. Efficient, quick and safe in all they do. Cleaned up and did all they said they would do. Highly recommend Miller's and there team. read more

Amazing tree cutting abilities. Clean up as they go. Fast. Very reasonable prices. I had 2 extremely large oaks that were threatening my home and decided to remove them. Millers sent out a representative (Clay) to give an estimate. Bad weather season is here and I wanted to be proactive. The earliest they could perform the tree removals was 1 month out. They arrived with a crane and made easy work of the tree removals. Very professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend Millers, they are excellent and delivered on their promises. read more

Miller's is the BEST!!! A commercial property experienced some damage due to the tornado this past Thursday evening. Yesterday morning my husband and I had made plans for a vet visit for our old dog early in the morning since we had no other appointments. At 7:30 AM a man rang our doorbell. I looked out in the yard and saw 4 or 5 other men. Two weeks before Miller Tree service had said that they would call us when they could come out during the week to take about seven medium sized trees out. The manager also said that he would look at one other tree that we wanted to take out and give us a price before they came out to do the job. We could see then, if we wished to contract with them. Due to weather issues the manager said he couldn't come out that week and could probably come the next week. We told him we understood bad weather putting him behind. I gave him some pretty clear information of the diameter and shape and location of the tree on the phone. He said that it sounded like he could do it either for free or it could be a hundred dollars or two hundred dollars. It also depended if he could get his machinery in. I felt good about it since it was the closest tree to the access road. But we had not heard from him all of the second week so we made to vet appointment for the last day of the week. It had been our understanding that he would do a long job for our neighbor first thing in the morning, and then, if we contracted with him, he would do our job afterwards. Now he was telling me that he wanted to do our job right away, since our land was drier than our neighbors, and he wanted to charge $400 for the tree that we had discussed on the phone. My husband and I were feeling stressed that no one from Millers Tree service had called us ahead to give us a quote based on viewing that final tree, nor mentioned what day they could to do the work. I asked if they could find a way to do our neighbor's trees first so we could get our dog's appointment taken care of and have time to talk about the job and quote with each other. The manager became angry and said that I was "questioning his integrity". I was surprised by his flair out, but we were still willing to work with him. I asked him to please call us when he was ready to finish the neighbor's tree cutting. We left after calling the vet to say we were running late. When we returned around lunch the crew was leaving and the manager was not on the job. We asked if the manager could give us a call. A worker agreed to tell him. The crew left and we called his office and the receptionist said she would have him call. When he called he still seemed angry, and said that he would not do the job, even if we paid $400 for the final tree. This was disappointing as we had had another manager of Miller Tree Service give us a quote the previous year and we felt that the crew did a really professional and timely job of taking down some really big trees. But this year this particular manager seemed to have some anger issues that kept him from getting this job done. We look forward to having this work done some day by one of the many excellent tree services in Tallahassee. read more

I couldn't recommend Miller's more! The team took down a huge dead water oak on 6 hours. They communicated well and were so professional. The price was reasonable and my house is now safe. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Clay! read more

Miller's Tree Service - Tree Services Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

DO NOT USE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. The city of Tallahassee has had the corner of Tamarack Ave & Crestwood closed for construction which has been ongoing for several weeks. The city notified us well in advance of the construction and timeline for completion. This project restricted us to only access to our home from Redbud & Tamarack. Today Miller tree service blocked access to my home from Redbud & Tamarack with a large crane blocking the entire street. When I asked for the boss I was directed to the man in the crane. At first, he just ignored me, I continued to shout until he opened his door. I told him he was blocking access to my home. He stated he would be done when he got done, he was trying. He then closed the door! Without providing any estimate of when he would unblock the public street. Miller Tree Service blocked the Public street. As a resident on this street we were not informed by Miller Tree Service of any blockage would occur or any blockage had been permitted. This would have allowed us to schedule or day around the need for our neighbors to maintain their trees without unduly inconveniencing their neighbors. DO NOT USE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. read more

The crew that came to my house did a great job! They were super fast and respectful and left no trace of the huge pine limb in my front yard. Probably would have given 5 stars if they didn't smoke cigarettes in my yard. I just found that a tad unprofessional. Overall great experience though. read more

You can always count on Miller's for professional serviceb. Vince and his team did a great job doing storm clean-up at our house after Alberto blew through. We lost a huge limb that was wedged within a few other trees, and in spite of multiple trees down in our area Miller's was able to provide a written estimate in under 24 hours and service within 48 hours. What would have taken us days with one chain saw was cut up and hauled away in 45 minutes! These guys are polite and they ALWAYS leave your lawn in better shape than it was before the tree went down. I highly recommend Miller's: Professional service and ressonable prices. read more

They did a decent job but they charged a lot more than the guy I used to use, who retired. I would suggest getting multiple estimates.

I give Ryan and his crew at Miller's Tree Service 5 stars, their work was amazing -- they not only took down a dead oak (in a difficult location with a lot of vines attached), but they blew off my roof, front and back yard, AND my neighbors' driveways ... just to make everything look good. After Hurricane Irma, when other tree companies were charging storm prices, Miller's did not increase their price. They were very professional and did an immaculate job. Highly recommend for tree removal and trimming, you won't be disappointed! read more

Miller's is the absolute best. No good reason they shouldn't get 5 stars from every review. Their service is perfect and professional, and they leave absolutely NO evidence they were in your yard. They've taken down huge trees for us several times and I can't recommend them highly enough! If their prices are higher than others is because they do such a fantastic job. read more
