Apparently, she finds it more difficult to pursue cases-especially those involving damages-for hourly workers, I was more than willing to compensate her for time to write a letter inquiring about harassment and intimidation by my employer, in the hopes it would stop, Carol made it clear that would tarnish her practice to write a letter without her filing a lawsuit, If you are an hourly employee and belong to a union, I would recommend avoiding this law firm to save both your time and theirs, Thank you

Despite her being fully aware that I had less than two weeks to pursue in court. At first she acted nice when I spoke to her but then she changed in demeanor and became condescending and dismissive toward me which was concerning. She is unpredictable. My advice is to contact other law firms and have another attorney as a backup if you decide to retain her services. Because it's difficult to get an attorney at the last minute when you have important legal timelines to met. And I won't be able to file my lawsuit because I trusted Carol. I hope this review helps. Today I received a strongly worded letter demanding I remove the defamatory comments. After further investigation I realize I did not have all the information, but more of an emotional reaction. Attorney Josephine Stark is a good Attorney. She communicated back within a reasonable time frame. She did not in anyway waste our time or money. As a business owner myself, I understand how negative comments can and do effect the bottom line. Reputation is a big deal in all professions, and Josephine Stark and the McTague Law Firm did not deserve what I wrote on Yelp. My wife and I sincerely apologize to those who were effected by our negative and distasteful comments. Josephine Stark should expect a personal apology letter tomorrow.

I will say they were down a member of their team with a medical issue. Once I voiced my concern to Alex that I needed to be kept in the loop of my case I was assigned a different attorney. I was appointed Jeff Kaufman, and he did an outstanding job keeping me in the loop of the case via emails or phone calls. Jeff went way above and beyond what was necessary of him to help bring my case to a close. Jeff showed real compassion to my situations the entire time dealing with my case and was able to bring to a close before losing my home and vehicle. He did work that should have been done by the opposing attorney to help speed up the closing of my case. I give their firm and Jeff a 5 star review. Lastly, he offered to me to keep Intouch if I have any issues or other legal questions while now I go through my social security disability process which another firm is handling. I feel Like I formed a friendship with Jeff going through all of this. On another note not related to this firm but worker's compensation cases in general. It is a long process anywhere from 1-3 years I have heard of from others. The workers best intentions are not in mind of the opposing company. The independent medical examiners are a joke and only out to nail you. They are referred to as insurance whores. They basically say whatever your comp company wants them to say in my opinion. It's a dirty corrupt system, and you only have big business and politicians to blame. Just hire this firm they will protect you and be patient.
