Our Experience working with the Miller Steel Law Firm We have had the privilege of knowing David Miller and his Son Zach personally for 20 years and so when we had a personal injury case in 2014, their firm, Miller Steele Law, was an obvious first choice. At that time our claim was not a slam dunk (as we would learn along the way) but both David and Bob Steele did exceptional work to get us a very favorable settlement. They were persistent and thorough in all their research and made all the right decisions along the way. Our case did not go to court but to arbitration instead. And thanks to Miller Steele Law, we were exceptionally well represented in terms of the documentation and evidence. Followed up by David Miller's closing argument to the former Judge in charge and it was exceptional display of incisive thinking and a very effective presentation. In 2019, this same pattern was repeated in our case against a condo unit above ours that leaked water into our unit for several weeks until the owner above us would let building maintenance in to locate the source of the leak. Again, the leadership of Miller Steele Law was key in the complex preparation of the facts and the path to arbitration. The result was the same--very favorable. In both cases the situation was very obvious. In the first case my car was at a dead stop at a traffic light, and I was rear ended by someone on their cell phone at about 40 miles an hour. In the case of the water leak, an undetected water leak into our unit was the case of extensive damage to our unit. In the case of our car, it was totaled, as was the interior of our condo unit. One would think that, with these obvious facts, the cases would be a slam dunk. But far from it as the games played in civil litigation by the guilty insurance companies are a mixture of pure fiction and the bizarre.
