Holy cow Rafael Millan and his team are fantastic! I called for an estimate for two huge King date palm trees to be cut down to the stumps and they gave me a great price and then came back later the SAME day and removed them! I got quotes from about five other companies and Millan was the best and their turnaround time cannot be beat! The whole team of guys were great, very professional and considerate. They cleaned everything up in no time flat and helped me clean up some pieces of the trunks (clean straight cuts to make them level) of the trees they removed to make awesome planter stands. I had them do some other tree trimming while they were here and they were very diligent in cutting all the branches I asked to be removed and not any more. They gave me loads of good advice on how best to take care of the rest of our trees that will really help with keeping everything looking really healthy. I am definitely planning on using them again. I was very pleased with Millan Tree Service. Rafael gave me a reasonable estimate for a difficult job. They trimmed 15 cypress trees in my backyard that were over 30 feet tall in addition to trimming 2 smaller trees in front and removing a bush. I gave specific instructions not to climb on my roof and how I wanted some of the trees trimmed and they followed my request precisely. The job took a little over one day to complete and Rafael or his son were there the whole time to supervise and answer questions. They communicated frequently with me to make sure I approved of how things were progressing. I was especially impressed with how Rafael treated his workers. He gave them 2 meal breaks and plenty of water to last the whole day. They seemed happy and enthusiastic. I was given what I believed was a reasonable estimate for the work that needed to be don and was informed that Rafael Sr would get back to me to let me know when the work could be scheduled. The appointment was set up two days later. His crew showed up, on time, did the work as we had discussed. I had a lot of cleaning up on my backyard sloop and a big tree to trim down. We scheduled for a next day work, and Rafael and his crew came. So you know Chatsworth gets windy, right? What a relief to have that dead tree and dangerous hanging branches gone--I was able to sleep and not worry during the windy night! I called Rafael and had his crew do more work today. Juan, Rafael's son, was awesome--the crew was quick and efficient and I really appreciate their professionalism in cleaning up after their work. They trimmed an over grown pine tree (including some branches that I didn't realize were dead and cracked--ready to fall).
