Office manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. She laughed in my face at something personal I had to explain to her.

My 18 year old has been with this practice his whole life. The staff and Doctors are all wonderful. We wish they saw adult patients.

We've had plenty of first time parent concerns and he's tackled them all super timely and with a way of explaining things that calms us and gives us more confidence every time. And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

My kids LOVE going to the dr. They literally ask to go. Even if there are shots involved they like being there. When the heck does that ever happen? Dr. Nikki is more than a doctor. She is someone my 13 year old daughter looks up to and my 7 year old son wants to marry. I trust her and when it comes to your kids that is something you need to have for peace of mind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

One practitioner failed to treat his illness and spoke to him with outright disrespect--completely unacceptable behavior from anyone, let alone a medical professional. Children deserve to be treated with care and dignity, and that was absolutely not the case here. On top of that, the front office staff is consistently rude and dismissive to parents. It's painfully clear they no longer care about their patients or their families. If your child's well-being matters to you, stay far away from this place.

I feel it is necessary to fully explain the one star review on this practice. Billing: they have…read moreno issues sending you a bill for a copay and not providing the service. My child had an apt canceled and they still billed his insurance (I only caught it when I got the bill for the copay in the mail). Staff: The front office staff is atrocious- no follow through, no call backs, no personality (terrible for working in a pediatric office). The physician we saw took 10 days to send in a prescription for my child who went a week without their medication. This physician also barely assesses the child when in the office: never measured head circumferences of my children when they were infants, no assessment on my last child who was there (point of care strep test + and thus treated the strep and never assessed him, just gave antibiotics), etc. If you are looking for good, thorough care for your child, this is not the place. I went against the advice of others I know who useD this practice and left b/c of the same issues, thinking it was close, convienent, and the pediatrician we were seeing was personable with kids. Don't make the same mistake I made - the kids deserve better care than what this practice can give.

Okay, fine. I needed a sick appointment for my son and despite him being ill, I waited 3 hours for her to call the insurance agency and get back to me. I know something about insurance and billing being in the healthcare industry. I had a feeling my husband's insurance agency was going to provide misinformation because insurance companies don't want to pay when they hear a secondary insurance is involved. Despite her knowing for a fact that the primary for the child is whichever spouse birthday is first (my husband) she didn't go on her own knowledge and even stated that she knew the information that was provided to her was wrong, she denied giving my son the sick appointment. I've never experienced such backwards thinking at a doctor's office. I never had issues or bills from my son going to the doctor- pediatrician or urgent care. We just moved from NYC so this level of ...weirdness is baffling to me. If you're looking for a pediatrician that will be playful and informative sorry Dr. Hammoud isn't your guy. He gives me the impression of someone that was forced into the profession or he just doesn't like my kids! Not sure, he doesn't have a warm vibe, however he agreed to not give my children all the vaccines on one day. It's more visits, but that works for me as not many places accommodate parents with such requests. From my experience his medical assistant are new each time I have been in the office. As far as the esthetic of the office, the waiting area could use some remodeling or at the very least some new chairs. I'm suggesting plastic or leather like chairs easier to sanitize because the current chairs are screaming bedbugs so I never sit in the waiting area.

I was heartbroken to learn of his passing today from his staff. He was such a kind, gentle man. I enjoyed going to his office as it wasn't ever over crowded and behind like others. I usually am waiting over an hour at any other office to be seen as the doctors are usually way behind schedule and putz around. I also enjoyed stepping back in time a bit, it was pure nostalgia walking into his office. I felt like a kid again with all of the older decor. I was really sick in December 2021. I did a Telehealth call and was prescribed medicine by another doctor. I wasn't getting any better and finally made the trip to see Dr Jutkowitz. He pulled out this old looking machine and got to work cleaning out my ears and trying to help me hear again. I swear, this man was such a gem or a human being. He wasn't like all of the ones just looking to throw medicine at you. He wanted to fix the issue and knew how to every time. I am thankful I was under his great care for many years and he is missed!

I found this odd, but answered anyway. I was told that Dr. Jutkowitz doesn't prescribe medications very easily, to which I said I was basically looking for a new PCP, as I have just moved back to CT. She then asked again if I was looking for medication. I assured her that I wasn't someone who was looking for a doctor to prescribe medication, and that I was looking for a PCP. She then rudely told me they weren't accepting new patients and hung up on me.
