First off, LOCAL PAWN SHOP. That should be enough to tell you this place is filled with all kinds…read moreof awesome. It's tucked away in the corner of a plaza with a tiny storefront, but there's a bunch of really interesting items. Music, tools, TVs, movies, vintage games, furniture, sporting goods, you name it. There's an awesome rustic feel to the place, yet everything is really clean and not a spec of dust or clutter around. They are also members of LIBA, so they're a solid business keeping your dollars in the community. I felt very comfortable walking in, you just never know what to expect (scraggly meth head, used car salesman, night club bouncer, etc.) I came in to sell a motorcycle helmet, and the guy (who did not fit the Pawn Shop owner persona, which is good) explained politely he was not really interested. Not a big motorcycle market in Louisville, and at the time we were rolling up on winter. All in all, there's always new stuff coming in. Check back frequently.

Absolute worst place on earth to pawn your stuff if you want to get it back someday…read more I've been making my interest payments like clock work. Even paid it early for last month. They tried to call me yesterday on the first of April. I was at work. I called as soon as I got off and no one answered. I called 16 times over a few hours to check on my pawn. Called again today as soon as I got off work for them to tell me my pawn (which consisted of my grandpa's necklace he gave me and a guitar pedal that has preset saves that are priceless to me) "fell through". Both items that I never would've wanted to pawn but times are tuff. Trusted them and my payment were always a few days after the first but somehow it "fell through" on the first. Usually they call me a few days prior to let me know my payment is coming up. Now I have lost 2 of my most precious belongings of my life. Very sketchy. Not to mention they have tried to tell me it fell out in the past and them tells me it was some kind of glitch. I got receipts for every payment I've made. All for nothing now and I lost them. Do not trust them. Do not go there.
