I took my car into them to change my alternator, put a cadillac converter back on my car that someone had cut off as well as to fix any other problems that they found with my car. The only problem I have with my car before taking it to them.And the alternator going out was the radio didn't work.And that's because a fuse needed to be changed.I had just not gotten around to doing it yet.I picked my car up about nine o'clock after work. My check engine light was on my boss was like.That's crazy.You check engine light shouldn't be on when you're picking up your car from the shop.But I had to make a trip.The next day, all the way to vicksburg got to halfway, there pulled into a store and my car wouldn't start back. So I'm hours away from home gonna be late for an appointment.

After hours, I got to at my starter in my car crush up. So I took it back to Mike's auto straight back, and I told them what happened. They tried to tell me something else was wrong with the car. Something to do with transmission. These kind of cars always have these kind of problems you fix something. And something else needs to be fixed
Well i bought a new starter and was going to have it put on. But the mechanic that I took it to wouldn't put it on because they damaged something under my car. That was causing oil to leak down on my starter and everything else.
And where they fixed the cadillac converter, the they did not brace it enough or maybe they were just poorly welded or both, so now where the cadillac converter was welded onto the car, it is train to actually go back and forth.Until it breaks, it's barely not dragging the ground. The oxygenator is cover, completely broke off.. my mom also took her car to them around the same time. Her car was having trouble starting turned out to be a little wire. No, big deal costs less than $5. Well, they broke the wire. And instead of buying another one or asking her to buy one, they JB welded it to the car.
So there's no getting it off. I don't know if they just thought I was dumb or that I wouldn't check to see their work.But I do know that I don't recommend anybody take their car there.I don't know how in the hell they got five stars. Maybe they were better at in the past, or maybe they have gotten better. But.
Someone that couldn't own up to their mistakes. And tried to tell me, there was something else wrong with my car after I just told them to fix everything. On my car, oh yeah, something new broke within 1 day. And such a poor job was done.
Now I have a lot more problems with my car because I took their word for it. Expected them to be honest. But I know I am going to have that Cadillac converter. Checked to make sure it was brand new because I'm really starting to doubt that it was
And I know those kind of things are traceable, so I wouldn't recommend taking your car there if you actually want it fixed now. Maybe. If you just want it temporarily fixed to sell it or something. But they still charged me almost $3000.
My air conditioner doesn't work. My radio doesn't work. I have to tap my starter half the time to get my car to crank. There's a water lake oil is leaking. My oil stick was changed or bent or something cuz. It won't get a correct reading. If you really want to take your car to a place in Columbia. I really recommend Kevin's auto.
He's booked up, but that's because he's honest.And he's goodAnd if he can't do something, he'll find you somebody who can or he will at least be honest with you. Did I mention that they also had my car for like two weeks to get this work done. I'll give them one star cuz. They got my car running for a whole night and morning.
