I was selling my house and was looking for a realtor in Ventura County that knew the real estate market and was also a people person. I got a recommendation from a coworker to give Mike a call. I immediately could tell he was thoughtful and detail oriented. He explained his process and his thoughts on best times to sell, how to get view on the house, etc. He wasn't pushy and wanted the selling experience to work with my timeframe and my needs. Fast forward a few weeks and we sold the house quickly and seamlessly. He made the overwhelming process of selling a home easier than I could have imagined. He checked in regularly, answered texts and emails promptly (even on vacation!), and consistently showed that he cared about us and not just the commission. If you want to buy or sell a house and work with an agent that knows Ventura County and knows how to work around your wants and needs, Mike is your guy. read more

If you are a woman, you probably should not use him as a realtor. His wife is crazy. I bought a home from him a year ago. Yesterday his wife added me on Facebook just to be able to send me a degrading and threatening message to stay away from him. read more

We used Mike Love to sell our Ventura house in April. Mike is well regarded in the Ventura Real Estate community, so he was an easy choice to make. His cheerful demeanor and "can do" attitude are infectious, and he's just plain fun to be around. We loved the way Mike used drone picture technology to advertise the house on social media. It's very impressive and eye catching. With his expertise in the Ventura market, we knew we were in good hands. Long story short, the house sold for full price the first day on MLS. It was a clean 30-day escrow where Mike was with us for anything and everything. We'd use him again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mike! read more

We are thinking of relocating to Ventura, so we scanned Yelp for someone to turn to randomly and decided on Mike. I called him from my work and caught him in his car as he had just picked up his kids. Despite the always awkward "hey... calling you out of the blue for free info and you dont know me" intial exchange of words, Mike quickly put the conversation at ease, asked some straight up questions, and gave us valuable information on the geography, how the demographics worked, and walked me through Google Maps tell me all the low down from a "Westlake Village" to "Camarillo" to Ventura. The conversation was close to 20 minutes long and ended with a referral to another agent who could help us more than he already had. Now, that is service with no direct "win" for him, but it has helped us immensely. Who does that these days to complete geographic strangers? Not many that I know. Thanks, Mike, for your charitible knowledge! read more

This guy didn't just put his heart and time and energy into finding a dream home. No. This guy didn't just sell a house, a bunch of wood, sticks and spackle..., No. ...He reunited generations of a family. For that we will be forever indebted. I get tears in my eyes as I write this. We are very humbly grateful. No one, not any other agent and we met quite a few, could help us find that perfect house (so many clunkers!) but holy smoke... Mike Love found it. And he then he stuck around, late for his vacation, and made it work for all parties above and beyond the call. Dang. Mike Love is the real deal. A lot of real estate guys go through the motions and push you into ridiculous directions for their personal financial enrichment. But Mike Love really truly cares about people in his life. Mike Love is the real deal. Consider yourself lucky to have found him now. Your life will change for the better. You've been blessed! Mike Love is one of the few people in your life that you will ever meet that will bring you and your family blessings. Mike Love spreads love. Thank you isn't words enough to describe our gratefulness. There is no word invented yet. read more

Mike Love was exactly the right agent to help me find my first home. This whole process was foreign to me and friends warned me that it would be highly stressful. Mike made it a ton easier. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable and honest. And a terrific communicator--I never had to wait long for answers to questions and when we first started looking, he would touch base with me almost daily with updates on new inventory. He was never pushy, only helpful. And when I needed someone to go to bat for me, Mike was there. We ran into some snags with the lender during escrow, especially toward the close. It moved twice and when it looked like it was going to move a third time, Mike quickly jumped in. He called the loan broker and insisted we stay on schedule. And it did. The loan was funded and escrow closed on the same day. I was almost sad when Mike gave me the keys. I was stoked to be in our home but bummed that we would no longer be in contact often. Mike became a good friend during the two months that we worked together and my kids and I already miss him. He helped make the home-buying experience a real joy. read more

Mike love helped me sell and find a home. His unique techniques with marketing helped sell my house fast. I have no doubt about that. He made videos and his pictures where top notch. He always kept me in the loop as far as what people were intresetred in. Mike helped me make a couple changes to the house which made all the difference to potential buyers. He also found me the current house I live in. He showed me a wide range of properties in the area without going anywhere. Once we decided on how much I wanted to spend and what I was looking for it took not much time at all to see all the property and make an informed descion. I can't thank him enough. If you are looking in Ventura he is the guy to talk to. Thanks mike. You are a true professional! read more

Very happy in our new home and felt that we have made a friend not just a sale. I have done the buying and selling thing before and it is always stressful but Mike was always there to help. ANd he even offered to pay for a one year home warranty for us. This guy is a class act and i couldn't be happier using him. I found Mike on Yelp and couldn't be happier. I was a first time home-buyer and Mike was extremely helpful. He has an in-depth knowledge of Ventura and the surrounding areas. Mike personally knew the listing agent of the property I wanted, which turned out to be immensely helpful when negotiations began. He walked me through the whole process, and made otherwise very complicated situations and paperwork much more understandable and approachable. He gave me a level of confidence going into my first home purchase that I surely wouldn't have had without him. Mike was there for me every step of the way and is extremely reliable. The guy always answers his phone. On moving day, he showed up with the keys, and get this, he helped me move in! The sun was setting and we didn't have much time to unload the truck, and while other agents might have taken off, Mike stayed to help make sure it was unloaded before dark! I'm new to the real estate game, but I've never heard of another agent doing that. I'm so lucky to have found him, and I am very much looking forward to working with him in the future. Do yourself a favor and give this guy a call if you're in the market for an agent. read more

I could sit here and pepper you with pleasantries about how Mike is a consummate real estate genius, which he is, and some, but that would only be selling this guy short. I've known Mike for the better part of my life and there is no other person I'd trust with the biggest purchase of my life. So when it came time to to make the move, I sought out Mike's advice on where to start. He guided me through each step of the buying process and prepared me for what to expect before the search began. Even though I was relocating to Portland, Mike used his contacts to seek out and interview over a dozen agents in the Portland area to find me the best agent possible, and boy did he accomplish what he set out to do. I found our dream home and closed within a month, which was a monumental feet, considering how competitive the market was. Thank you Mike! read more

Real estate transactions are always fraught with some complications, but Mike made sure our deal moved forward to a satisfying conclusion. We found Mike through a referral and it could not have turned out better! Mike is a great agent who's communication is top-notch and he is always available. We are pretty intense about house hunting and 99% of the time Mike was able to meet us at a property last minute. I honestly wondered if he had other clients at times cause he always had plenty of time for us. We were new to the area (moved from the East coast a year ago) and needed someone with great local knowledge and Mike definitely fit the bill. He is great at getting the answers you need from other agents and provides good advice on both listing prices and potential offers. He took the time to get to know our needs and wants in a house, and ultimately helped us find the right fit that also worked with our budget. He has a laid-back style but is attentive to the details from finding the right place to closing out the transaction. We could not recommend him more and would not hesitate to send friends and family his way! read more
