I cannot say enough positive things about this center. From day one Miss Carrie and her staff have…read moreworked hard to accommodate and work with our family and our family dynamics. I stopped by this center, after touring five other centers, with very little in the way of expectations. However, after a short tour was thrilled to have found this center. From that moment on everything has been smooth sailing. Of course there have been issues that have popped up (mostly on my part) but Carrie and her staff were there to help me figure it out and support me every step of the way. Carrie went out of her way to get to know me as well as my children; and this seemed to be the norm. She was very hands on when I saw here; in fact she often was not in her office because she was somewhere in the center being a hands on director; leading by showing not telling. You can tell her leadership management style works as many of the staff members I encountered seemed to be very happy to be working at the center. Speaking of these staff members - I had the dream team of members working with my twin 2.5 year old daughters! Miss Ana, Miss Coquitha and Miss Nicole were absolutely amazing! In fact, my girls often came home talking about the staff members more than they did other students! The staff members were always warm and friendly at drop off - and took time with me at pick up those first few weeks when I was getting my footing as a mom of daycare kiddos. It's hard leaving your children with someone; even if they are trained. These three ladies made that transition SO much easier for me. I work in the ECE field as well in a different dynamic; but I was always learning something new from Miss Ana or Miss Coquitha. Both teachers have their own strengths; but together they are a power team! I would ask questions or voice concerns and they were always right there to support me with ideas and suggestions. Now; the curriculum. I would have to admit I was slightly skeptical about it when we joined. It looked 'okay' but I knew my girls would learn through play no matter what - so at this age I was more concerned about their social skills and language development. Let me tell you - was I pleasantly surprised!! Not only did my girl's language and social skills jump - they sky rocketed!! They matured so quickly and were talking SO much more. They also were telling me all about their themes & curriculum based projects!! The themes are age appropriate and the activities are well thought out and planned. No need to wonder what your child does even if they don't tell you; there are pictures EVERYWHERE. I noticed one other person commented about the drop off experience in the morning in the common room. I'd like to clarify from my experience with this time period. First off - I would say that drop off at any daycare is hard for younger children; but I never saw "all the 2 year olds" crying. Were there some crying? Sure. But, the staff was right there giving hugs and reassuring them they'd be okay, have fun and see their parent later. Are there a lot of kids in that room? Definitely; but I'm kind of glad my girls got that opportunity for a few reasons. 1) It gave them a time to be with older kids who modeled good behavior and also presented as great language models. 2) It gave them (and me) a glimpse into what it would be like when they moved out of the younger classrooms and into preschool. Numbers go up the older your child gets due to the more independence they build. It's a natural progression and this KinderCare fosters independence! Finally; this room is fully staffed for the ratios. There are plenty of teachers for the amount of students in there. This is not their 'learning' focused part of the day - this is when the kids are just getting adjusted from being at home to being in school; the demands on them are less. It's more about independent play and peer interactions. I could go on, and on and on about how much our experience at the Brentwood KinderCare meant to my girls and myself; but these are the most important positives for me. The staff was caring, got to know my kids and their needs, communicated with me effectively and the school always felt welcoming and warm. There were times I stopped in unannounced or late/early - and nothing was ever different - just the same great care I saw when I dropped off/picked up every day. I loved this center and wish I could've taken the entire staff with me when we moved!!

Absolutely Exceptional - More Than Just a School…read more Year after year, this Montessori school continues to amaze our family. It is rare to find a place that balances rigorous academic excellence with such a genuine focus on character development and respect. We have watched our youngest (now 4) blossom here over the last two years. The growth in his education level is nothing short of outstanding--he is learning concepts I wouldn't have expected at his age, yet he is doing it with joy and curiosity. But beyond the academics, what impresses me most is the school's commitment to constantly bringing in new activities and enhancing the learning environment. They never settle; they are always finding ways to be better. A few amazing days of the year for you and the family: All the Holidays - The school ensures we celebrate holidays from across all cultures and life. Fathers' Night: An amazing way to connect their children with their fathers. One of the best moments I look forward to every year. I Mother Tea Time: Another amazing experience for the children to spend some quality academic and fun time with their moms. This standard of excellence isn't limited to just one teacher; it is consistent across the board. Every staff member, at every level, cares deeply about these children. If you are looking for a place that will truly invest in your child's future, this is it. We couldn't be happier.

Their dedication to teaching is clear - when my oldest daughter started Kindergarten, her teacher specifically noted how academically and socially advanced she was, directly crediting how well her preschool had prepared her. As a parent, there is no greater feeling than being able to drop your kids off every morning with complete peace of mind. I never had to worry because I knew my girls were in the best of hands, being loved, supported and receiving a fantastic early education. We loved our old place, but it was hard for the provider to reserve two spots for our kids considering that we only need help one day per week. After speaking with several providers in Brentwood, we decided between Lucky Bear and one other place. The one thing that made us reluctant to enroll here was that we were the first family to join. However, Alla was happy to provide us with professional references from her career as a teacher, and invited us to meet with her family for an extended interview. The home is perfectly set up; with a great play area outdoors and a big rotating selection of toys. The emphasis here is education, which is HUGE for my wife and I (especially since I am a teacher). Alla has a "school schedule" for the kids and tailors the curriculum to the appropriate ages. Our kids bring home cute crafts, learning materials (like study books that Alla has made for them), and they always eat well. Alla also cooks lunches with fresh and healthy ingredients. Aside from all of this, Alla is just great with kids. My kids adore her and ask about going to Alla's house often. Any parent can relate to how unnerving it is to leave their kids at a new place, but we highly recommend Lucky Bear for anyone looking for a small adult-child ratio and a positive and loving environment.

I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but this school deserves to be defended and…read morerecognized for the incredible work they do. Both of my children attended this school, and I can honestly say that I have watched them grow--not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and as little human beings. The foundation they received here has meant so much to our family. There are things being said about this facility that I simply cannot agree with based on my own experience as a parent. I can only speak from what I have personally seen, and what I have seen is dedicated teachers who care about children, work hard, and give so much of themselves every day. My little one struggled when he first started. Adjusting was not easy for him, but the teachers never gave up on him. They were patient, loving, and understanding. They helped him feel safe, helped him settle in, and helped him learn. That kind of impact goes far beyond a classroom. Those are memories and skills that stay with a child. By the time children move on to TK, they are prepared in so many ways. They know their letters and numbers, but more importantly, they have learned how to communicate, socialize, follow routines, show manners, and become more independent. Even simple things made a huge difference in our home. My children used to want to eat only in their high chairs or while I followed them around the house. This school taught them how to sit at the table, eat properly, follow routines, and be part of a group. Those may seem like small things to some people, but as a parent, I know how meaningful they are. I want to give a special thank you to Ms. Deb and every teacher who has poured their time, patience, energy, and heart into these children. You may not always realize how much parents notice, but we do. We see the long days. We see the patience. We see the effort. And we see the difference you make. People can write whatever they want, but my children's growth is something I have witnessed with my own eyes. That is my experience, and that is what I choose to speak about. I am truly sad to see wonderful teachers move on, even though I know they deserve every opportunity that comes their way. You have made a difference in my children's lives, and for that, I will always be grateful. To all the teachers and staff: Thank you. Especially Ms.Deb Your work matters. Your patience matters. Your love for these children matters. And you are appreciated more than you know. From our family and from so many grateful parents: We love you, we appreciate you, and we truly don't want you to go. Thank you for helping raise, teach, and guide our little ones during such an important part of their lives.

The school is always VERY clean, decorated so nicely with kids artwork and so cute for holidays, and they have a sweet chicken that loves the kids! All of the staff is so sweet, patient, and understanding. My son had a hard time adjusting to not being home with me all day and was later diagnosed with autism and they never once made him feel less than. Instead, they were able to pick up on his needs like needing his schedule to stay the same, how to talk to him when he's doing something he shouldn't without him freaking out, and helped in his potty training journey. He is now almost 5 and aging out soon but I couldn't be more grateful for everything they have done for him.
