when i want korean food, i make it at home... but i did eat here once out of curiosity and a couple more times with friends. maybe i ordered the wrong dishes, but i was not really impressed. ):
kimchi chigae was okay, fish chigae was weak, and i was pretty disappointed at the quality and number of banchan i got with my mains. i am not expecting my mom's cooking here, but if i order a soup then it should come with several side dishes; not just three. it is not that hard to make them in advance and then keep them in a fridge for the week. granted, they tasted ok. but something was missing (maybe sesame seeds?), and the kimchi was definitely not up to my standard as it tastes like it is a little too ripe. it doesn't feel like a korean restaurant at all to me. and don't make the mistake of ordering sushi anywhere that is"korean/chinese/ __fill-in-the-blank__ & japanese."
miga: if you want to cut a deal with me and buy my homemade kimchi on a regular basis, message me. (; read more
