As another posted previously, we live in Washington state and purchased our vehicles in Washington state. Jerry Johnson came highly recommended on these Toyota groups. He was VERY responsive. Evenings, weekends, super Polite and is very good at what he does. Warranty Prices are a fraction of what they would have cost when they were offered to us at our local dealership at time of vehicle purchase. Give Jerry a call and you will quickly understand why everyone speaks so highly of him. A absolute pleasure!

We were stranded in a pretty remote rural area of Kansas, hours from home and with no idea who to contact for help. We ended up being towed to Midway Motors Chevrolet of Hutchinson, KS. While waiting to get picked up, I called ahead to let them know our Tahoe was going to be towed in and spoke to Jim Turner, one of the service advisors. Jim was understanding of our travel situation and assured me they would do what they could to check things out and see what options could be. When we arrived and the tow truck pulled in Jim came right out to meet us and worked with the driver from Lucas Towing of Kansas, LLC, on the best place to offload the Tahoe. Jim then told me he had made arrangements for a loaner vehicle from the dealership that my wife and I could use to make it on to our planned hotel that night and could still make it to our scheduled visits to vacation attractions the next two days. Kelsie was the young lady in the office who then got us in a loaner vehicle that my wife would be most comfortable in. She was so helpful and friendly. After we transferred all our stuff from the Tahoe to the loaner car and finished some paperwork with Kelsie, I went back out to speak with Jim and he already had the Tahoe pulled in and Dillin, the service technician, was already starting to diagnose things. Over the next days, I received frequent updates from Jim on what needed to be done, the status on getting parts, and making the repairs. We were towed in Monday afternoon and thanks to Jim and Dillon, we were able to drive away Thursday morning. ....only having to stay one extra night in Hutchison than originally planned and we didn't miss any reservations or vacation activities that were prepaid and could not have been rescheduled. Jim, Dillin, and Kelsie, we will always be grateful for all you did for us. The Tahoe is running great now and we arrived safely home. Good Job! You all made a stressful situation much easier to get through than it could have been without each of you. Thank you.

The sales staff is not to brash or overbearing. Finance department is efficient. The service department can be hit and miss. They are a descent shop for minor repairs, oil changes, brakes, and tire rotations. However they really push a lot of add on service work. Diagnosing more difficult problems can be taxing. Overall I recommend this Honda dealer.

They kept it for two days and then told her it was just going to be that way. She would need to buy a trickle charger to be able to drive her car. Charged her several hundred for this great advice. Then against advice from family she returned to Conklin due to her air conditioning not working. They kept the vehicle for 4 hours and would not give her a ride home as a courtesy. At the end of the 4 hours they said they were not sure but would order a part to fix it. How long would the part take to come in? She asked. They replied they didn't know and they had to order it from Amazon. ????? charge of $500 Took two weeks for the part to come in. They installed it and tried the AC. The service department told her they installed the part incorrectly and burned it up. They would be ordering another part at her expense even though they are the ones who ruined the first one. The second part only took one day to arrive. Odd since the first one took weeks. She argued the responsibility of her paying for the part but they would not budge. Cost $750.00 Conklin cars seems to take advantage of elderly people. She bought this vehicle at Conklin cars new. They told me that one of my Rails was bent and I needed a new one. This would cost me $750.55. I also paid a $135 diagnostic fee. I took my car for a second opinion. once the tech took my seat out there was a cap stuck in the slide and no rails were bent. according to the tech that I got the 2nd opinion from stated that Allen Samuels tech Ryan Parks never took the bolts Out of my seat or removed the plastic clippings. If they would have taken the time to do this then they would have seen the cap. I called immediately and spoke with Bill the service manager. He was extremely short with me and not friendly. I called him the next day(Saturday) he stated he still didn't his "people" together. Then I called Monday. No call back. I drove away from the dealership and the vehicles check engine light came on. So drove it back and they said all was ok. I'm a disabled vet and I rarely drive and usually just to the store and back. The 3rd time after the so-called repair I decided to drive to Wichita. ( on Jan 20th) Only 25 miles away and the vehicle had the exact same problem that was supposed to be fixed. I immediately called Lubbers and they said I could bring it back on the 30th of Jan. 2023. The vehicle could only go as high as 4th gear, so I took the back roads home. When I got home, I called Ford again and I told them that it's the exact same problem and they said the best they could do was the 26th. Which in itself is totally ridiculous. Now FORD is saying that both issues were different and I'm stuck paying the new bill. ($2559.36) I have the diagnostic report from the first visit and it's the same code as was previously supposed to be fixed. Lubbers Ford is trying to defraud a disabled vet. I've got to think that there is nobody they wouldn't try to scam!

They were giving a very vague response. I asked them about the shuttle service, his response was they didn't provide that service to people that didn't buy their cars from them. They gave the impression that they didn't want my business. This truck is still under warranty, I think that they are not going to be a pleasant experience working with them. I hate to go to Wichita to see if Orr Nissan to see if they are going to be any better. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR ATTITUDE.
