Our 2025 Ford Ranger, which we bought new in November of the model year was way overpriced but they worked very hard to add on extras like a very expensive service contract for oil changes which they sold us as if it was from Ford when it's was an aftermarket contract. Waiting for more than two hours to activate the contract, get the oil changed and then wait nearly an hour for them to finally send payment so I could have the key back to drive our pickup home. Watch Midwest like a hawk if you buy a new Ford from them!!!! read more

Do not go here unless you bring someone with quick math skills and NOT in a rush. I was adamant with the sales guy JEFF COX, I couldn't go past a monthly expense due to family budgeting. What was supposed to take 1 hour went well past 2.5 when he knew I had to get back to work. Then their finance guy Jason Stroot brought me in and gave me a quick overview of the contract but never mentioned some of the expenses were optional and not required. He also then took my monthly price we agreed upon but advised it would be paid bi weekly. In case people don't know there's 26 bi weekly payments not 24 so they get two more extra payments and when you divide it into 12 months, it is out of our budget so kudos to being quick and dishonest but I would NEVER do business with these bottom feeders again. There are plenty of Ford dealerships in the neighboring areas. Don't think this location will be at all trustworthy. If you've bought from them before I'd revisit your detail. Good luck. read more

Purchased a extended warranty from Jerry Johnson, super sweet, and extremely funny and professional. I live in Dana Point and purchased my 2023 4Runner TRD PRO from One Toyota in Oakland California. Purchased for sticker price ( dealers in my area want between 8k to 10k over sticker ) I asked about a extended warranty with them buy the quoted me $3800 for 10 year or 100k mikes with tax almost 4K, Thank god I found Jerry's name and phone number on a forum. Called him late in the evening and he answered all my questions. He then sent me a email to answer a few questions. The price was amazing!!! Got a quote and agreed to get repairs fixed here. Made an appointment on Monday and dropped it off expecting the work to start. It's now Thursday and we call to get an update and they tell us it hasn't even been brought in to be looked at. The quote was based on outside damages so it could change. They hadn't even taken the bumper off in 4 days! Just let it sit there. We're now picking it up and taking it elsewhere. read more

I have never had a good experience at this dealership. Every visit over the last 3 years has involved poor customer service, disrespect, shoddy work and ends with repeated visits to get simple repairs done right. The most recent visit is typical: I made an appointment for regular servicing of my 2015 Camry. I arrived on time for the appointment, and was told it would take 1 hour for an oil change and tire rotation. I was there waiting for 2 1/2 hours. No one communicated with me about the delay, and no one apologized for the delay and inconvenience it caused. My car was returned to me filthy! There were numerous grease spots on my cream colored leather interior where the mechanic had touched with his dirty hands and boots. I was so upset that my car was returned to me yet again in this grimey condition. I came home and spent 2 hours detailing my interior, except for the large grease spot on my carpet. My husband took our Toyota back up to the dealership so that they could see the grease stain and make it right. They made pathetic excuses for how that could have happened, and refused to apologize or take any responsibility. (They did give my husband a card for a free car wash, but I don't have any confidence in this place and the work they do.) The worst part is that the next day I noticed that my newly serviced car was now leaking oil! My husband called the general manger and asked him to address it. He sent someone to get my car and left me a loaner, so I thought maybe I would finally get good service. My car was returned and the only thing said was that the oil spots I noticed must have been old. Again no accountability, responsibility, apology, or follow up from the service manager or the general manager...and my car is STILL LEAKING OIL!!! I have really tried to make it work with this dealership. Shame on me for trying to keep it local. Midwest is the absolute worst place to take your vehicle for any maintenance or repairs. Even under new management this place is a waste of time and money. read more

Do not under any circumstances trust the service dept w/ you keys or key phobb.. one of mine was "lost" here and when my vehicle was taken in to "reprogram" a new phobb it wasnt reprogrammed at all.. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had I cant believe they are actually in business the way they handle things. After advertising the car I wanted for at least 3 days it took three days to get ahold of someone which should have been our first clue. I set an appointment to come trade in my new car. I drove from an hour away to pick up the car and right away I noticed the cracked windshield. I test drove the car and everything seemed alright. Made the deal and they handed me one key with no fob (this car came standard with a key fob. Then the first time I filled up with gas the gas cap was missing. The heater dosent work right so thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty. The manager assured me they would send a check to cover the windshield which was only sent out three weeks later after we asked again when did they send it. I had to argue with the salesman that the car should have a fob to automatically lock the doors ( its not 1980s) so this whole time I have to manually lock the door each time and he is making the process an absolute nightmare just to get a proper key made from them which they also promised. The only thing I can say is the finance guy was very nice and seemed to know what the was doing. Beware if you ever buy from this place. No wonder people are buying cars online. read more

The kid did nothing but put some kind of obnoxious cleaning compound into the car & did not clean the area that was too be cleaned. Don't take your car here for repairs. My car was in the shop when they had a fire, February 13. I got my car today, March 24. My insurance paid for the rental I was using. My car smells like it was bombed with a cinnamon factory, makes my throat and eyesÿ hurt. What did Ford give or do to compensate for this mess, nothing. I can wipe soot off dash and seat with baby wipes. Been screwed without even a hug and kiss. read more

A friend of mine purchased a car, signed the contract and drove away - days later they told her she needed a co-signer and if she didn't get one, she had to bring the car back. She brought it back and alright and went to Suzuki in Wichita where she didn't have to have a co-signer - Suzuki was wonderful and took great care of her. I would never do business with Midwest Ford of Hutchinson. It is legal - most contracts say - subject to financing - but a good way to do business - I don't think so. read more
