It was easy and a pleasure to work with Midtown Doors to have some maintenance done on a garage door opener that we purchased several years ago. Faye was efficient and cheerful on the phone when making the appointment. Cody, the technician, was on time, thorough and efficient. He explained what he did and answered a couple of questions. I would happily hire this company again! read more

Around 11 am, a spring on my garage door broke. I called Midtown and they had a technician out around 3 pm who installed new springs on the door. Excellent service and response. Reasonable priced. Highly recommend this company. Del H read more

On Saturday afternoon I ran some errands, pulled into the garage and was unloading my trunk when there was a loud noise and the garage door came whizzing down at lightning speed just inches behind me. All the neighbors came out to find out what happened. Scary!!! My spouse called Midtown Doors first thing Monday morning and by Tuesday they were out to fix it with a new spring and a few other parts. Price was reasonable compared to getting a whole new unit. It's probably a wise idea to have your garage door serviced every couple years to avoid a scary incident like that or even injury (or worse!!). We are very thankful for this business and will continue to call on them when needed. read more

Another score for Yelp*!!! Garage door broke over the weekend (broken spring) and needed it fixed. After calling the last company we used and getting a ridiculously expensive estimate, I went and looked at yelp and got this company. Spoke to Dan and he gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable to what I was expecting. I scheduled an appointment and he got me back in business in no time. I really liked how he interacted; it felt more like just a casual chitchat with an old buddy just shootin' the breeze while he's fixing my garage door. Highly recommend! read more

Shit people shit service says there gonna show up but don't never get a call Dan is not professional always late says they don't have a part and wants to charge me 900 for a new opener read more

Our garage door kept popping up after going down so I searched Yelp for a good repair service and Midtown was appealing due to the solid rating. I called in the afternoon on a Wednesday and they were here Thursday AM right on time. After a few adjustments our garage door was fixed for the very reasonable price of $70. For the price and quick turnaround time, I don't think you can go wrong with Midtown Doors & Services. read more

From the moment I called to Inquire about a new garage door installation to the completion of the installation process our experience was phenomenal! Dan was awesome to deal with. Super responsive, personable, and very helpful. Their pricing is competitive and the installer was awesome! We had a minor issue with the seal on the bottom and I texted Dan and he came out and installed a larger one in 5 minutes. I will never go anywhere else for garage door needs. read more

What a great experience! Popped a cable on my garage door. Found Midtown Door on Yelp & called. In under two hours, Dan arrived, assessed the situation and replaced the cables. He also found a few other failing parts plus one or two components not properly installed. After getting my approval, Dan made those repairs at no additional charge. The overall cost for time, labor & parts was very reasonable! Before leaving, Dan took the time to give me a few maintenance pointers to extend the life of our garage door. If you're looking for a good, small, local business for garage door installation or service, give Dan @ Midtown a call. You won't be disappointed! read more

This is an easy one, folks. First, Dan is GREAT. Super friendly, very genuine -- felt like I knew him my whole life just in talking to him. Straight shooter, easy-going, and he does quality work. I called Midtown on Friday after my garage door shot off the track, the cable on one side coming unspooled from the pulley. The only way I could get the garage door to shut was by pulling the other cable and, thus, undoing all the tension in the spring. Dan booked me for the following Tuesday, and he showed up promptly at 8:30 am. The work was done in about an hour, and he let me throw in having the weather stripping at the bottom of the door replaced too. Total cost? $70 for labor + $20 for the weather stripping = 90 incredibly reasonable dollars. Dan also dressed some of the garage door opener cables, dialed in the tension on the door, and straightened out one of the tracks that had gotten bent/angled pretty good after I put the door back together. Dan also does installations, and he can accept credit cards right on his smartphone. He even emailed me a receipt (boo to paper). If you've got garage door issues or need a new one installed, call Midtown. Do it! read more

Excellent work! Thank you so much for taking care of your customer without hesitation in such cold weather. We tried a different company before we get to Midtown Doors. The other company completely damaged our garage door. It was only a broken spring, but the other company came and took all the parts off the garage and cut all the cables and want us to buy a complete system. I am glad I called Midtown to come to look at it. He fixed everything at a very reasonable price. read more

I would give zero stars if that were an option. I am a pretty patient person, however after having to call this company a third time to fix what was not fixed on the first trip, or the second, my patience is gone. I would not be nearly as upset if the guy wouldn't have treated me like crap for insisting he come back the day I called instead of waiting two more days (for the third trip). He acted like I was inconveniencing him, while I was being totally inconvenienced myself, because my garage door won't open. As the customer, he should be trying to make it right without making me feel like dirt for wanting it fixed. I don't even know if the thing they fixed the first time was the actual problem. Said it was the spring, now saying it's the opener and they'd be happy to sell me a new opener! I would have probably let him sell me the new opener if he wasn't such a jerk about it. I'm out $250 to this guy and he could care less if I have to keep taking time out of my day to have them back three times. ***update-garage door has now completely quit working. Can't get car out. read more

I had damage on my nearly 20 year old garage door. Part was wear and tear, the other was when my foot slipped off the brake and I rolled into it! But I digress. Called around and came across these guys. Spoke with Dan who was very polite and friendly. He came by the house within a day or two of our phone conversation and properly assessed the condition of the door. A week and a half later 2 of his crew came and replaced the 4 slats (panels) on the front and back of the door, fixed the weather stripping, and programmed my new remote all inside of an hour! Now I would've loved to give 4.5 stars ... even 5 ... but they only get 4 because I had to follow up with Dan after he was supposed to follow up with me. His guys were also 30 minutes late. Beyond that, I would use them again, and I'll definitely recommend them! read more

They came out as soon as they could(which was a week after I called away but this is what happens when you are doing good work at a fair price and you are busy around a holiday). Dan was worth the wait! Got there early. We talked like old friends and he got the spring replaced in about an hour for a good price. Couldn't be happier! Perfect job!! read more

Showed up on the day we requested. The job was done quickly. Jose did the job nicely and professionally. We will use them again if needed.

I contacted this company because it had such great reviews on here. He was 20 minutes late to the appointment we made. He gave me a rough bid but told me he would follow up later with an actual bid. I never heard anything from him. I contacted him a week after our appointment to follow up and he never responded back to me. Very unprofessional. read more

This young business owner was prompt, knowledgeable & gave me a fair price for my work.

If I could give them ZERO STARS I would... Just needed to put a new rubber strip/seal on the bottom of the garage door to keep mice from getting in my garage..... I sat & watched from my kitchen window and saw the tech bend the bottom panel on the right side (when your facing it) used my ladder to prop the door on it & I thought it was part of his process/knew what he was doing, now the door shakes/shudders terribly when trying to close & if I hadn't stopped it, the door would have been totally destroyed, after I unhinged it the door was tougher than hell to try & manually close.....I called Midtown and was understandably upset/pissed & the office manager tried to say it was the doors fault, how would he know, when he wasn't the one to work on it... this door had given me ZERO problems before I had them work on it....the office manager said the owner would come by the following day (Saturday) & look at it at 11am...Well 11am came & went with a no call, no show....so I called the office and left a message on their machine that the owner was supposed to come by & no call/no showed....NO RESPONSE.....so as of the time of this post, there has still no response and they opened up Monday morning & guess what...still no word (shocking!)....so that tells me all I need to know...I have contacted another garage door facility and expect much better service...STAY AWAY FROM MIDTOWN DOORS IF YOU WANT QUALITY SERVICE... (the other company has looked at the door and has informed me that the integrity of it has been compromised, they could replace the bottom panel that's damaged but no idea how long it'll last, so the best option is guess what?....Now I have to replace the job, went from a $180.00 repair to a $1600 replacement.... THANKS FOR NOTHING MIDTOWN DOORS.... YOU SUCK read more

This has to be the best garage door repair company in Omaha! The owner, Dan, is very quick and reliable. He is also very polite and explains things thoroughly. He was very flexible with my schedule to get my door taken care of and he was there when he said he would be. He was also much more reasonably priced than some of the larger companies. I would not hesitate to call Midtown Doors in the future and I will definitely recommend this business to anybody in need of garage door services. read more

I needed a garage door so I went on line to the yelp app to get reviews of garage door companies. After reading about a dozen reviews I noticed that Midtown door had the best. I decided to call Midtown and I am glad I did. Dan came over to look at the project and gave me an estimate. He explained the process of a door replacement in great detail and quoted me a decent price. His company text me to let me know when they were on their way for the estimate and the replacement. Dan is a personable and approachable young man. He made me feel very comfortable about doing the work and his knowledge of garage door installation sealed the deal. Jose who did the installation worked continously until the job was completed. Jose had a great attitude and did an excellent install. I can see why they get great reviews. read more

I had a garage door spring break over the weekend and requested a quote online to get it replaced. Dan responded within minutes with a price. I called to make an appointment and he was able to make it the next afternoon to get it fixed, despite the snow storm. He is not a grumpy repairman. Affordable, quick service for your garage needs. read more

Glad I trusted the reviews on Yelp! Dan answered on New Years Day (at 9:30pm!) when I called and was out the next day by 11am to fix the springs on my door. The price was way under what I expected to pay, Dan was super nice and the work was done quickly and professionally. I wish I could tell everyone about this business...it's scary trying to find someone to fix something when you are in a jam. You just want to find someone affordable and trustworthy. He also let me know several times that if I had any problems whatsoever, to call him. I highly recommend him and wont go anywhere else...he is programed in my phone forever :) read more

I called Midtown Doors based on Yelp reviews late afternoon on Friday. Dan was at my home on Saturday morning on time at 9:30 AM. He quickly assessed the problem and had all the needed parts. He fixed the problem in about an hour and it works better than when first installed. He patiently explained the problem and the options I had. His price was very fair and affordable. Afterwards he gave me clear instructions on how to keep my garage door running quietly and smooth. Dan is also a very nice and positive person. I would recommend him to anyone needing garage door repair or installation. read more

A family member recommended Dan at Midtown Doors and Services when I was having an issue with my garage door. Not only was he able to come out during the date and time that worked for me, but he was very friendly and had the work done in about 30 minutes.
