The main auditorium has seats which stack up, creating a nice large wooden dance floor for the salsa event. I parked at the Bedford Rd car park, which cost £1 for the whole evening if you arrive after 6pm There was a bar selling drinks though it was classy of them to also make jugs of cold tap water available for free. The toilet facilities were good and there was a self serve cloakroom The salsa party night itself was fantastic - 3 levels of classes by Gio and guest teachers, then lots of time to freestyle and practise those moves and the highlight of the evening - a show by Miles Chapman and Lorna Arnold, the UK Junior Latin Dance champions. Just when you think you can dance, it's amazing to see how much higher the standard is for real dancers! Good venue, great evening!

I have attended several events here over the years, mostly thise which are aimed at…read morefamily/children. It is quite a small theatre which I think adds to it's charm as you seat fairly close to the stage which is a big advantage when attending with small children or when listening to a speaker. It is situated very centrally in Guildford and is easily accessed by train, bus and car. It also is set right on the River Wey so there are great views too from the bar area!

The nearest car park is the…read moreblue car park but my friend and I had to wait 30 minutes to get out of the car park after the show - I'd recommend parking in one of the other car parks and walking We came to watch Midnight Tango, the dance show by Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace of Strictly Come Dancing fame, which I'll review separately There's a bar outside and little concession stall selling expensive pick and mix. There was a little queue at the ladies tiolet before the show but following a polite enquiry by my friend, a steward led some of the women to some secret toilets hidden in the disabled toilet area The seats are quite close to the row in front but the banking in the Royal Circle was well done to give everyone a good view of the stage. That made it difficult to get past other viewers to get out - as we were in the middle of the row, we felt inhibited to get out at the interval to get some refreshments The theatre has some good shows in its rotation including previous West End shows like Dirty Dancing

The theatre waiting area was clean and is on three levels which is good we went down to the bottom as there was someone playing the piano which was nice and helped take away the waiting time. The theatre itself was clean and comfy wasn't hard to find the seats and the leg room was ok. The only gripe would be the cost of refreshments as they are expensive.

From there, it's a short stroll to the theatre In common with most local theatres, they put on a mixture of events from one man shows to plays to hosting events. The theatre space is about average for a local theatre and the seating is comfortable and nicely banked with good sightlines I've enjoyed a few shows and attended an award ceremony/evening here. Though quite compact, the staff are efficient at making it a fun evening

A reasonably good cinema overall, with a selection of screens with comfortable seats positioned as…read moresuch so that it is possible to see wherever you sit. The refreshments available are varied; sweets, ice cream, popcorn, drinks, slushies, hot dogs, nachos etc. All are excessively priced however, and it is generally frowned upon to bring your own refreshments into the theatres. The ticket prices are reasonable, better if you go on Bargain Mondays, or Orange Wednesdays. Understandably the cinema box offices are much busier on these days, and in some cases the box office hits can sell out, which is disappointing.
