I could have moved to a bigger bank, and sometimes that would have made more sense... more ATMs, access to technology like Mint, things like that could have been helpful, but I didn't want to leave my bank. I have had a checking account here for ages, and I've always had good experiences. I've enjoyed all the interactions I've had with the people who work here, and for a small bank they offer a good website. More importantly to me, I can always access a real, local person within a few moments of dialing the phone number. I'm always able to easily get what I need from the person on the other end of the line. The branches are always nice, and all the 7-11 ATMs around OKC are free. If you need to use an ATM where there aren't any, you can fill out a form and have fees reimbursed.

I should have gotten it same day, but they wouldn't verify funds on the cashiers check. What is the point of a cashiers check then. Took 3 weeks to get lien release which cost me the sale of my vehicle. Ive probably bought and sold 20 cars and had financing on all of them. Never have I ever dealt with a bank that was more bureaucratic and anti customer focused bank.

I've regretfully been a member of Midfirst Bank for about a year now. The reasons for the regret…read moreare based upon misinformation that was given to me about a few things. I also bank with (BOK) Bank of Oklahoma whom I love and would recommend. Midfirst Bank initially recommended a secured Credit Card that would lock money in. The individual whom sold me the idea explained "you may retrieve the money that's secured at any time once you've been with us a year." I later was informed from a different branch that I was lied to. I would not recommend putting your money in Midfirst Bank. I'm stuck now almost 4K in the hole that I'll have to pay off til I can get my secured money back. I was conned and am ashamed to have given Midfirst Bank my money or time. Worst banking experience I've ever gone through.

The staff is always so friendly, and this new location is no exception. It's also absolutely beautiful and a great set up. I recently went in to complete my name change and they were fast and friendly. I'm so glad I've stuck with them, and glad they've stayed true to who they are and haven't sold out to a larger bank.
