If you're looking for quality rotors, brakes and excellent customer service this is NOT the automotive shop for you. Approximately a month and a half after taking my vehicle for the above services, I noticed a large amount of rust on my rotors and squeaking while applying my brakes. I took the vehicle back to them. I met the very arrogant and condescending owner Jason. Yes, Cecilia F. I concur from your post on 7-2-16 , he does not like to be questioned. When asking if it was normal for rotors to rust after a short period of time, his response " It's metal, metal rust. " Hopefully not after a month and a half and spending $ 600. 00 dollars for various services. He tried to show me other vehicles with rust on the rotors, but nothing as bad as I had! As for the brakes squeaking, he tried to say it was the way I drove the vehicle. Not those rusty rotors. My first concern as a business owner,would be the safety of my customers and a possible defect in the supply line of products I'm selling! Had to get my brakes done and of course this always happens when you aren't prepared. But they had to be fixed. Went in and they said it was metal to metal. I could hear it! What I was impressed with is, they could have sold me new roaters seeing on how they needed to be shaved down. But they took the time to salvage them and saved me a lot of money. Would not recommend to anyone who wants quality work! There are a couple of great guys there, but they aren't the ones that work on your car! I learned my lesson the hard way and kept going back! Their prices are way too expensive!!! Their quality of work is terrible! You will get your car back filthy and falling apart!!! They tend to not diagnose the issues all at once, so what happens is they will nickle and dime you to death. They diagnose the issue and you will pay to fix it. A month later something else goes wrong associated with the part you paid to replace! Another month later you are paying for another part associated with the last part you replaced. My car has been acting funny in the mornings lately. Being short on money I figured I should at least have my fluids checked asap before I take a long drive tomorrow. I printed a complimentary inspection coupon off of their website and figured I'd hope for the best. I was extremely surprised and relieved to get such attentive service at Midas. I wish I could remember his name...Joe? or Jason? He discussed a few possible reasons for my car's behavior and seemed to understand my financial situation. I came in with a 2012 Honda Civic, looking to solve an issue with my suspension after my rear shocks took a dump when hitting a pot hole at high speed. I mentioned the issue and pointed them to the rear shock leakage, but they figured it was something else after seeing that my brakes were wearing out. However, the odd sound coming from my car was due to the rear shocks losing fluid, but they insisted otherwise. So after quite some time of testing, they agreed it was the rear shocks. The pricing for the service and parts was ridiculous. $385 for the parts and about $110 for the service. He told me it was due to only one manufacturer making these rear shocks for the newer Honda models. He also added that usually these parts are expensive. I asked if combining a synthetic oil service and rear breaks to the suspension service would make it any cheaper, and the end price, with a discount, was about $830... Ludicrous! I left the place and paid $50 for wasted time. I did my research and bought the same KYB rear shock set for $100 online. I usually do the work on my car, but I decided to give a local shop a chance since I was pretty busy that week. I ended up installing the rear shocks this past weekend and wallah, problem solved. I saved myself over $600 dollars. This included buying royal purple synthetic oil and filter, plus rear brakes. I would not recommend this place to a friend. read more

I have gone to this Midas before, and with my upcoming move to Oregon I needed to get my brakes checked (I knew I needed new ones) and my car was also running very rough. Sam (Manager) has helped me before and he was great! He took care of my brakes, flushed out the fuel injection system, and cleaned up my battery and engine (no charge). My car PURRS now, no kidding! I had my breaks done here. This review really isn't about their service because I feel like breaks are routine enough and I wouldn't know until much later if they made any mistakes. However, their service was definitely not the best. I made an appointment at 9am and was told that I would be seen and taken care of. On the day of, that was not the case. I dropped off my car at 9am called at 12pm and they hadn't even touched my car yet. My car was not finished until 6pm! I ended spending an entire day waiting for my breaks. If this was going to be the case, I feel it would've been best for them to tell me this from the beginning. read more

I've left a review before, but am compelled to do so again because of the service I received that was exceptional today. I had a problem with a noise my brakes were making. I'd taken it back before, but they couldn't duplicate the sound. An inspection was done to no avail. I made an appointment to take it in today and met with Jose. I went on the test run with him to see if I could duplicate the sound and, this time, we were successful. Jose was patient and received high praise from his boss for being one of the best people on his staff. Midas replaced my brake pads with absolutely no charge to me and got me back on the road. Took my car in on a thur as it was leaking. Need pinion seal and differential fixed. Two days later my car was still leaking. Took it back, they placed it on the lift immediately and even had me come out to look under the car to see what was still leaking. The seal they used was not a good part (no fault of their own) and they took care of me ASAP. read more

I've been going to this Midas for several years now.I used to think Midas was just for brakes and minimal fixes. This is not true. I've taken my truck there to have a lightbar installed, trailer hitches on a couple different cars, along with brake jobs, alignments, etc. I've seen them arm deep in motor replacements. They do it all. Jason is the owner and he's a very cool guy and will tell it to you straight. No b.s. I trust him and so should you. I was making my daily run to pick up my daughters from two different schools when, at the first stoplight, I heard the dreaded grating of my front brakes. I had no choice but to pick up my girls from school first, but by the time I arrived at Midas at 4:00, I hoped against hope that Midas would be able to get my car back in business in less than an hour. At first, I was told they couldn't do it until the next day, but when I explained that I couldn't be without a car and the brakes were grating, they immediately said they would take a look. I was so impressed that they dropped everything and took care of my car, and had it done by 5:00 p.m. The prices are reasonable, and in 10 years of going here (through five cars collectively between my husband and I) I've never felt like we've been sold more than we've needed. As I told the manager when I checked out, my daughters and I both appreciated their fast service and willingness to take care of us quickly. read more

Jason, the owner, does not go there much anymore, but Sam seems like a good guy. They are diligent in their diagnostics when my vehicle has a problem, and generally fair in their prices to fix. These guys are absolutely fanominal. Hands down professionals and they really know what they're doing and what they are talking about. My boyfriend took his truck there to get an after market exhaust with an exhaust already in mind. They told him what would sound better, look better, and all in all be better for the truck, and it wasn't gunna be more expensive. They helped him with everything and with great quick service. Such friendly people with the best customer service, they aren't doing it just for the money but for the customers true happiness. Dax was the one who installed his exhaust and was patient with the flip flop decision making because he knows it's more than just a truck, it's a big decision. And Sam the manager helped a lot as well in deciding which one to go with. All in all amazing customer service and would recommend them to all my friends, family, and everyone else. I went in here on a Saturday mid-day to get an oil change for my 2004 Rav-4. I had a coupon for a $19.99 oil change + tire rotation (which Midas calls Midas Touch Maintenance package and costs $34.95). Having gone to WalMart to try and get the same done for cheaper and told it would cost me $30 and a 2 and 1/2 hour wait, I was pleasantly surprised that these guys were ready to get me going right away and be done in 30 min or so. They got my oil change done in about 20 min and I was out of there in less than the time promised. Overall a pleasant experience. They also told me that my tires couldn't be rotated since the front ones were more worn out than the rear. (which turned out to be right when I got a second opinion at Costco) Another plus - They had a couple of kid-friendly magazines which kept my kid busy and they had world-cup soccer game on TV, which kept me entertained while I waited. I give them only 3 stars here because of a couple of things a. They didn't re-calibrate the TPMS after inflating the tires and that gave me a week of pain with tire-pressure lights showing up in the dash randomly. b. They tried up-selling me new tires at 25% higher price than what I found at Costco. read more

My automatic window would not roll up. So I first went to Firestone and they said they didn't fix windows. Then I went to some place next to Midas and they wanted 350 to 400 to fix it and they would have to have a driver to send me home and it would take about two and a half hours to fix. He wasn't very friendly either. So I drove next door to Midas next door and this guy named "Sam" was so professional and nice. He said they could order the part ( a regulator) and have it over in a half hour. While I was waiting he told me that I would not need a part because the window had just slipped and the regulator was still good. He saved me a ton of money and I will definitely be coming back. I have got to tell you that I have NEVER BEEN more appalled by anyone before then by Jason the OWNER of this Midas. To bring you up to speed my daughter brought her truck in for a A/C inpection because it was not blowing cold air all the time and she was concerned caring her daughter (MY GRANDCHILD ) around with it being 112. Sam was her first point of contact. She dropped it off was given a estimate for a inspection. After said inspection the diagnoses was given as a bad or leaking A/C line and a estimate was given to my daughter. She called me and asked me talk to Sam. When i did he was very respectful and professional. At that time I had asked him if i brought the parts would he put the in. He aggred but told me NO WARR. I expected that and thanked him. After the repair she paid and left. with in twenty minutes it started to blow hot air again. she called me and a i told her to call Sam and return the truck. She did and after inspecting it again it was determined that the compressor had failed. LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR IN THIS POSTING! This is more about the end then the beginning. Sam had told me that they tested the system and that the compressor had failed. we spoke at length about it and he was convinced that this is definitely the problem. Again i asked about getting my own parts and adding the accumulator he thought that was also a good idea . we worked out a price. When the parts arrived the next day my daughter recieved a call from a JASON and he explained that the New price was $418.00 yes that's what i said $418.00 for labor alone. my daughter was not happy and said do it and we will figure it out after. So now that you all have the foundation here's the the punch line. I found out about the up charge after the repair and b4 the truck was picked up. I called Sam to discuss the charge and was told Jason was taking care of it. after a brief discussion with him I asked to speak with the manager or owner and was told" DUDE YOU ARE TAKING TO THE OWNER" and if I wanted to pick up this PIECE OF S**T Truck that's what i have to pay. a few choice words later he hung up on me. OH IT GETS WORSE. I called back and he then told me in a condescending way OH NOW you want to talk. At no time did i ever curse at him. he explained to me to bring MY BOYS DOWN HERE not sure what that meant but was still trying to get an explanation why he was charging so much more after it was agreed already with Sam. he didn't what to here about. I WILL KEEP THIS PIECE OF S**T TRUCK AND YOU'LL NEVER GET IT BACK And again cussed me out . I was so blown away and in shock by everything that had just happened that i didnt know what to do. I called another Midas and was told if i had a complaint who to call. I did and they took a report and in the middle of the report my daughter txt me that JASON just threatened her on the phone i conferenced her in on my conversation with Midas corporate and the person on the phone was beside herself by the language that he used YOU FING C##t and your FING PIECE OF S@@T truck and again with the IF I WAS SO BIG AND TOUGH TO BRING HIS BOYS DOWN HED BE THERE TILL 5... THATS WHAT HE SAID TO MY 21 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER MOTHER OF MY GRANDCHILD...Her husband was floored!!! She was so scared that she called the police and was so affraid to go there alone not knowing what he would do. So she did just that and the police showed up escorted her in he didn't say a word but sat at a desk with a smerk on his face and she delt with Sam and the police took report and Midas asked for a copy of the report and told me upper management will get back to me tuesday due to the holiday. I called this morning when they opened and told them I need brakes and rotors because mine were grinding. i was told that it would be 275 total WITH rotors, brakes done, labor, and lifetime warranty. After they did inspection they told me it would be $475 total. When I asked why I was told $275 they said it did not include rotors. I SPECIFICALLY told them that is what I needed and they told me that is what the $275 included. I feel like they told me that price just so I would go in.... check out RG brakes instead!
