Did they call me with updates after it took twice as long as originally quoted? No. I had to call and ask the status. They will wash your vehicle after service. Not mine... Forrest the service manager said the was center was down. The GM Ken later said that wasn't true. Which was obvious considering two other cars being locked up at the same time were shiny clean. Just not mine. The interior was disgusting. Dash and steering wheel has grease and oil all over it. Did they even look in my van before saying it was done?? Get home and found rat droppings throughout my vehicle. My kids blankets and jackets had droppings and dirt all over them. Snacks we keep in our car for our kids... eaten. Goodie bags we keep to pass out to the homeless... chewed through and eaten. One of my seatbelts was 50% chewed through! My back up camera magically stopped working. Of course they said they would clean it and fix it. The day we pick up our cleaned van, we saw a rat come out from under the hood. I set a trap in the van and caught a rat! IN MY VAN. They refuse to refund me my money despite how bad my experience had been. They laughed off the potential of what could've happened if this rat had come out of hiding while we were driving down the road... cause an accident... bite my child. Awful customer service. When I told the GM Ken how angry I was and why I was mad at him and his dealership he hung up on me and refuses to talk to me. Sorry that it's embarrassing you Ken, but everyone is gonna see just how bad my experience was. Not going to refund my money? Be prepared to lose it from people who no longer will come to you for service after reading this review.

I asked them to please check all my fluids and the air in my tires, which they were happy to do. The technician told me I needed break fluid. I found this interesting, because my car had just turned 40,000 miles and I had never in my life added break fluid to a vehicle. He said to take it to a brake place and mentioned two, and have my brake pads checked and the fluid adjusted. After getting home, I thought, "Why didn't he top off the brake fluid?" I went back the next day and was told "they don't do that," and they suggested going across the street to Tire Discounters. Tire Discounters told me that brake fluid is not something people "top off" or add at home due to its flammability and that they needed to schedule me an appointment to have the brake pads checked. This was a huge waste of time and effort that should have been explained better and more thoroughly by the Valvoline Team. Thankfully, the car checked out great at Tire Discounters and they did not charge me anything and I've had no issues with the car. I had to knock a star for the poor communication with the Tech at Valvoline. Also, I don't like that Valvoline doesn't check your brake lights, head lights, turn signals and horn. As you know, its impossible to check these things yourself. I had them replace my rear window wiper blade and, to their credit, they did a good job on that.

The shop was busy yesterday and I had to wait for a pickup truck to complete it's oil change before getting mine. That was not a big deal, as everything here is, in fact, express, and the lubes are completed quickly. The young man was so polite and did a great job cleaning my nasty windshield. He granted me the $20.00 off coupon I screenshot from their website while I waited, too which is a generous savings for synthetic oil! The only think lacking here lately is they don't lube your doors, check your air pressure, cabin filters, etc., like most oil change places too. That's not a deal breaker for me, because having that done is another opportunity for the staff to try to "upsell" you with filters and stuff you don't really need. Plus, it's not difficult to check those things yourself and actually do them yourself. Thanks Express Oil!
