I had an estate clean up to do in El Jebel and I was on a very tight time schedule coming from NY…read moreto do this job. I called many companies blindly because I had no recommendations and I was unfamiliar with the area. After calling several contractors I found on line, I left several messages. When I called Brooks Bros Painting who was referred by another contractor, I was surprised when the owner answered the phone. I explained my fast track situation an he came over to the house within 2 hours, gave me an estimate and we discussed the scope of the project. His pricing was super reasonable and he accepted the challenges that the job had regarding staining, due to years of Smoking and the tight time frame I needed to get this completed. His painters were well mannered, a mother and son team, they were super. The interior came out very nicely and they even threw in some extras without charging me. Scott Brooks and Brooks Bros Painting got this job estimated and completed before I even got return phone calls from the other people I had called. Scott also assisted me in getting some cleaning girls for some general clean up I needed also, he even helped my thrift store haul away dude loading his truck with something too heavy for him to load by himself. Fair Prices and a Job well done...Thank YOU Brooks Bros!!!

I was contracted to come work with this company as a sandblasting and coating foreman. I live in…read moreNew York a s was ready to move my whole life to Colorado. When arriving the slowly started to tell the truth . Basically they lied about everything they said in the offer letter and that we spoke about in the phone and via email for 2 weeks! Very unprofessional and I was told by the project manager to sleep at the airport after working a 10 hour day with them and being covered in sand and dust head to toe. I wouldn't recommend this low budget com artist of a company to anyone to work or purchase their services. I'm extremely upset and am seeking out legal action against them as well.

We contracted with Swedish Painting to sandblast some etched glass doors. After talking to Jim, he…read moresaid he would call me back after confirming the appointment with his boss. He never called back. I called him the next morning to ask if he was coming. He said yes, that he was, after they finished their morning job. I asked for him to call before he came. He did not and I wasn't there. My husband met him and showed Jim the other doors in our homes that had been done. He didn't think he could do it like the others. His assistant said that he had done something like this before and that he could do it. They started, they did a horrible job and were unable to make a smooth, unlined surface. He basically shrugged his shoulders and was unconcerned. My husband asked me if Jim had told me that there was a $400.00 minimum fee. I said no. So even though they ruined the doors--literally I have to replace them--he said "the owner charges $400.00 minimum". I paid it because I hadn't asked prior to him coming. Don't use Swedish Painting for glass work and make sure you get a written estimate. Jim was unprofessional and while he was here, told my husband a story about seeing a woman in Aspen who was sitting near him on a bench without panties and he saw her crotch. Seriously. My husband was embarrassed and couldn't believe he was telling him about looking at a woman's naked crotch. Just gross. There are numerous painting companies and other firms who do glass work. Don't call these guys.
