My last straw was midway through a trial of a medication (one of the ones which they didn't have enough samples of- so round two of attempting this medicine now) I call to schedule my follow up and "We're not contracted with your insurance anymore". I say last straw because for the right medical staff I would pay the out of network fees. So if you have medical conditions or insurance that requires hoops to be jumped through, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

They genuinely listen when you tell them something is wrong or explain what is going on. I had both of my children with this practice. The front desk staff is always friendly and quick to return calls. Unfortunately, as with most medical practices - the practice can't be defined just by the doctors. When it comes to obstetrics for prenatal care and delivery, it's a fairly great experience. The gynecological and post delivery experiences are not as smooth. There has been more than one occasion where it comes across when trying to tell them something is wrong, they don't listen unless you push. Personally, my reproductive health is not something I'm willing to take a chance on with staff not listening. Overall though, the majority of the staff is very friendly, it's a clean place, and great for OB care - my drop in rating comes down to lack of the same attention or concern for detail on the gynecology side.

This is a popular busy practice as a testament to the skill a competence of their staff. A queue of parents waiting with sick kids is overwhelming to anyone, especially if the phone is ringing off the hook. As a parent, sensitivity toward meeting our child's need is at the forefront and waiting in a line at the doctor's office to be greeted with unsmiling face is not ideal. Give the woman at the desk a break. How would you handle her difficult job? Smiling receptionists do no define the physician's ability. Being heads of our households advocating our child's and our own health is OUR responsibility ... we need to advocate, communicate, research question and support relationships with medical providers. We have a role in this. Healthcare is a privilege that needs to be supported. Health begins at home. This office has quickly and thoroughly sent files to doctors in different cities, as well as locally, to prepare for invasive testing in as efficient manner as I could wish for. Dr. Williams reviewed and responded to serious concerns and referred me to physicians elsewhere if our issues could not be managed by Riverside Pediatrics. They have also treated poison ivy, well visits, the flu, a sinus infection and major surgery that would send anyone's love for their child spinning. Not having the doctor that you expected could have been resolved if you requested they be put on your calendar. A child's stress over a doctors visit can be eased by a simple conversation about what will probably happen by a parent. If you can't "use your words" about this there are books at the library that may help. Think twice about hostility over a well care appointment. I say that because you can be immeasurably grateful that you are not holding your child's hand in ICU, your are not pacing in the ER waiting for a tragic outcome and mostly you are not planning a funeral.
