The…read moredentist screwed up my daughters filling and I had to schedule a new appointment many months in advance to get it fixed. When I arrived at the appointment on time, I was chastised by very rude people at the front desk and told that the appointment was cancelled the day before because I did not respond to an appointment reminder text sent to my phone. I explained that I was never required to respond to appointment reminder texts in the past and I assumed it was just a reminder with no need to respond. The person at the front desk stated it was a new policy, which I was never notified of, and rudely said "Well now you know" while handing me a card for another appointment scheduled another 4 months in the future. A month later, I received a call late in the afternoon regarding an opening due to a cancellation and was asked if I can come in early the next morning. Even though I was given far less than 24 hours notice, I agreed to come in the next morning so I can get the dentist to correct his past work on my daughters filling without having to wait another four months. I arrived at the appointment 5-10 minutes late due to traffic, requiring forty minutes to drive there, and having to leave work due to accepting the appointment on very short notice. I was immediately scolded by the rude, unprofessional people at the front desk a second time. They stated that my appointment had been cancelled again because I was late and this is my second strike. They then threatened to remove my daughter as a patient permanently if I get another strike. These people lacked any compassion or consideration for families and were extremely unprofessional. They held the previous cancellation against me as a first strike, even though I arrived at my appointment on time and was not even notified that my appointment was cancelled 24 hours prior. I am tired of wasting my time and money driving here just to be treated so poorly by such nasty, threatening, and antagonistic staff members and such poor quality work. I strongly urge anyone who thinks about visiting this dentist to reconsider.

I have been going here for many years because I like the hygienist Sara ,I go for a teeth cleaning…read more4 times a year and a checkup once a year. I need a cleaning 4 times during to loss of bone. I never missed a appointment in all those years. When I came for my appointment this week they said they canceled my appointment due to not calling them back to confirm it but I did call back 3 times and they never answered their phone they said they were short staffed and didn't answer, I left several messages also asking them to call me back and they never did. When I got there they blamed it all on me if you Confirm within 2 days prior to appointment you will be canceled. Also the first message I got i could not understand her who she was or the name of the business the accent sounded like Chinese and was very fast. The office staff is lazy and have excuses to cover their mistake. When I got there they were not busy at all and I had also called before I came and still no answer or return call. They do not care about their patients or the loyalty of them. I will not return and now looking for other dentists . I got no apologies at all just blamed me for their incompetence and I will be getting in touch with the manager and or company to tell what happened to me.

I wrote the review out of…read morefrustration over a charge for work that my insurance did not cover although I was told it would. Please know that this had nothing to do with Dr. Shah or his staff. I think Dr Shah is magnificent and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I received a call today from Denise, the area manager who informed me that the charge was an error on their part and that the $883 would be voided. In her defense, she had tried to contact me several times but my phone recognized it as spam. She could not have been more polite and apologetic. I certainly want to say again that this never had anything to do with the staff and Smile Design Leesburg. I highly recommend Dr Shah and his staff.

After a careful examination, and a review of the full set of dental X-rays, Dr. Caddell offered a second opinion: all I needed were 2 fillings, and two more which the other dentist had missed, and she promptly completed the required repairs to my full satisfaction. I can confidently say that Dr. Caddell is a caring and very competent dentist.
