He has gotten through to me with his sermons so intensely and has made me a believer that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and will always be there for me, that I will be Baptized on 01/06/2019. Review: From the very first Sunday, Pastor Holly Rogers has preached a word of god through scripture and also relating it with every day struggles like anxiety, etc. Abundant Life Church has pews for seats and the auditorium is two stories (stairs to get to second floor seating) with a surplus of pews on the second floor. Every Sunday there is a prayer team that stands infront of the stage during praise and worship. They are there for anyone that needs prayer. I love the worship team so much I actually am trying out to be guitar player. Every message that Pastor Holly brings, she uses scripture and adds a hint of comedy throughout the service keeping everyone engaged. There are many groups to join and there are many opportunities to volunteer for. Every month there seems to be a connection desk in the main lobby advertising events and groups for the upcoming months. Praise and worship team are amazing. They have great singers that are amazing at harmony. The lead singer is great and the drummer is great. All around amazing praise and worship team. 5 stars!!!

The worship ministry is delightful and the sound is well balanced. For many, this is a deal breaker because they don't want a concert, they want to WORSHIP. So far, ACC appears to be well balanced, and people appointed to greet and reach out to visitors do a good job. I also like how the church is racially integrated. The ministries here are pursuing excellence with everything we've got. I have a heart for the LifeGroups, which is ACC's way of maintaining a small-church "feel" even as God adds to His church all the time. The motto is "we're not a church with LifeGroups, we're a church OF LifeGroups!" If people are saying they feel disconnected from the congregation, I will bet they aren't involved in a small group! The kid's ministry (Kid Pointe) is exceptional, too! Every Sunday morning, my kids' faith and knowledge grows in an environment led by people who care so much. We love you, Kid Pointe all stars! The ReMix ministry is the Sunday night youth group. Here, teens are in a safe space to grow in their faith and be themselves. The 50+ group has fantastic leaders that keep the group extremely active throughout the entire year. Plus there's numerous ministries in between the kids and seniors. If you want to get involved, there's plenty of opportunities to serve and support. But if you need a place heal and rest, just to soak in the presence of God and hear about His love and the gift of salvation through Jesus, you can do that too. I found HCC to be a welcoming, Bible based, church that teaches and stands on the word of God. I'm so glad God brought me back to HCC.

I reached out to the church took them 3 days to get back with me. The preacher said one little prayer on the phone. No one offered to come and see him at the hospital. After I thought I had found a home church. I even told them he was in intensive care and serious condition. And no one cared.. My husband passed away. And I did not feel comfortable with getting this Pastor to do his services. After no one reached out to even check on us to see how things were going. I had to go to a different church and get a different Pastor to do my husband's funeral services. I was so lucky to have found a pastor that really cared. He didn't even know me. But he was more caring and considerate than this Pastor of Heritage community church. It's so sad after being there for 2 1/2 to 3 years. My heart is broken. It's so sad that no one has even reached out to me from my first talk with the pastor. He never reached back out to see how my husband was doing. Even though they knew he was in intensive care and getting worse. No one called to ask how I was either. Very inconsiderate and selfish people. I would give them no stars if I could. Oh, when you go there, they act all nice and wonderful and like they're a loving church. But when you need them and you're suffering and you're in pain. No one shows up. If I hadn't been a Christian for a long time. This would be the kind of thing that would make someone turn against the church forever and against God. But I know better because I know there's other pastors out there and other churches that are out there that really do care. But this one is about the Almighty buck I think. What strikes me the most is everyone is so friendly and welcoming. From the first day I began attending, many people came up and introduced themselves and welcomed me. Not just a welcoming committee, but individual people and families. They have made it easy to feel at home. And people from all different backgrounds make up each of their weekly masses, I feel like I fit in. There are different groups and activities to get involved and they are genuinely excited to have new members. From the outside it doesn't look like a traditional church, and the décor inside is unique as well. But if you look you will see God reflected in all the art that is around. The church is relaxed and peaceful, a perfect place to visit and deepen your relationship with God.
