Ask why you cannot leave a voicemail. Ask why there is no mechanism to make you aware of filings. I very strongly suggest due diligence. I think there are decent people here who may have indecent personal matters going on, but those were never disclosed to me and forced me into a financially untenable legal position. Withdrawing a day before he told me--and before the trial was complete--is client betrayal and unacceptable.
