It occurs to me on re-reading this a few hours later that my intention of sounding insanely funny just comes off as insanely insane, and perhaps in need of anger management classes (or perhaps way beyond the help of anger management). Therefore, let me be clear, this was an attempt at sounding insane, but funny. It appears I only achieved part of it. Thankfully, this isn't a real business so I don't have to care how crazy I sound. I can be weird as I want.
So why am I giving a power line a 1 star review? Easy. The power line is in the shape of a mouse's head, and the description of a 1 star review is "Eek! Methinks not." Eek! Get it? No? Shut up then.
This is stupid on so many levels. First of all, that someone created this page. Second, the name is stupid because the power line is not in the shape of Mickey Mouse - the pole is. Good job naming the page, genius. Third, how does one review a freaking power pole. What are we comparing it to? Other power lines? Are we electrical engineers? Structural engineers? Do we know if this power pole operates better than others? Do we know if this power pole has less wind loading? Is more efficient? Cheaper to build? Is it because it's more interesting and looks cuter? So we judge everything based on looks, do we? How dare we! Chauvinistic pigs, that's what we are! Judge a utility pole based on its capacity to carry power, not on its resemblance to freaking rodents!
I love Disney. The parks are fun and I am a master at the Buzz Lightyear alien shooting ride in Magic Kingdom, and I challenge any of you to a contest! I'll wipe the galaxy with you. Sorry-off topic. Anyway, does Disney need to follow me home. I have escaped the sweltering heat, the Monster's Laugh Floor constantly making fun of me, the cranky, crying, nose dripping, dirty diaper wearing bacteria infested children/grandparents, their equally angry, inconsiderate, letting their children scream non-stop, on their last nerve, needing a shot or 10 of whiskey, parents. In spite of this, I had a great time. But now I'm ready to go home, yet when I try, this freaking power pole reminds me I can never get away. Ever.
I suppose I should be happy that its just the one pole, and that they didn't design every power pole in and out of Disney to look like this.
And what about Pluto or Goofy? Don't they deserve a pole? How about Donald Duck? No no, you're right, he's an undeserving uncontrollable spitting buffoon.
And what about Minnie? How many years until women get equal recognition as men? Poor Minnie - even the princes get more recognition then her and the only thing the princes ever do is kiss the princess and break a curse. Do they have to put up with Mickey's insane freaking whistling all the time? That high-pitched, nails-on-a-blackboard voice? That constant insane giggle? No! And Minnie gets overshadowed by even a utility pole! That is some B.S.
This is how much money Disney has. They can pay for a utility pole that matches their mascot. No one else can do that. They can literally throw away money and design a utility pole - but you all keep on giving them $100 a day just to get into the place so as you drive away, you get a reminder that they are literally throwing away your money. That's what paying for a utility pole is. They have taken your $100 and wiped their rear ends with it in front of your very eyes. read more
