My fav's are the appetizers: tuna tartare is fantastically fresh and tasty and is served with Pringles which are a perfect crunchy and salty edition, salmon puffs are perfection, Rocky Shrimp - YUM!... I came here for lunch. Wow - what a bargain. I got 3 full rolls and the hot and sour soup for $10! The atmosphere was elegant and inviting. Service was terrific. Great meal tonight as always. We recommend the Angus Roll and Fire Island Roll. Very good service and not too long a wait when busy.

This is probably the best sushi in the Friendswood/Webster/Clear Lake area. There's nothing around here that has tasted better. Hit up the theater and watch a movie, then make sure to cross the parking lot and get sushi immediately after. Although the price is a bit higher than what I've seen in the area, it's worth it. The crab wontons were great and made with real crab, none of that imitation stuff. The fire island roll is probably one of my favorite rolls I've had at any sushi place. Highly recommend everyone to try it. Also, the Michiru Roll is very tasty. Now. The dessert is what solidified my devotion. This place has great apps and sushi, but the tempura cheesecake with green tea ice cream was the cherry on top. It is not too sweet and the way the ice cream melts and mixes with the cheesecake is awesome. For anyone wondering if they should come here, do it. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in the bay area! I have never had a bad experience and some of the nicest servers! I visit here 2-3 times a week! Yes, its that good! Nice atmosphere and the food was very good like you would expect. However I was surprised that there was only one bento box to choose from. Nothing to complain about but I think that you get more for your money and the food is just as good at Masa Sushi in Bay Colony. Also I think the atmosphere and the waitstaff is more fun at Masa Sushi. Michiru is more low key, not complaining about the waitstaff it is just more formal. They were excellent. Had dinner at this fine establishment on Friday night after work. The wifey was craving sushi so we ended up here and I must say I was impressed. The place is small but definitely worth it. This place was not too packed when we first got there but after a few minutes the place was crowed with people waiting to get seats. The sushi was really good played it safe and ordered the norm but was told to definitely try the house roll by the owner next time. The mango margaritas were awesome 2 of those and you would be down lol. I must say the most impressive thing I ate there was their desert. I am not a big fan of desert but the banana tempura was awesome I would highly recommend this desert for sure. I went here to try sushi for the first time....I was happy with my choice. I had to wait 5-10 mins for a table, seeing as I didn't have a reservation. The waitress was very nice and helpful, attentive but not hovering. I started with the pan fried pork dumplings (gyoza), they were excellent!! Then I decided to try the sushi, I tried both snow & king crab, the super white tuna, live scallop, the egg, the eel & finished with the mango ice cream. The sushi was very good, the eel was my favorite. The seaweed around the scallop and the crab ruined it. Next time I will tell them no seaweed. read more

Michiru is one of my favorite places to eat. Both of the locations I have been to (Clear Lake and Rice Village Area) have had great service and good food. Some of my favorites are the Crab Meat salad, Crazy Crab roll and Chef Signature roll. It can be a little pricey, but if you get their rewards card, you can earn points and then receive money off when you redeem them. My one small issue that I have noticed at the Clear Lake location is that some of the rolls seem to be inconsistent based on who is making it... usually similar in flavor but not the exact same each time. If I was eating this place for the food alone, I would give it 5 stars! We usually get a couple rolls of sushi and a appetizer of some sort. My husband loves the nigiri and sashimi. His favorite is the eel nigiri. The calamari is always crispy and delicious! And the sushi is always packed with flavors. The presentation is always on point. We really love this place for the sushi but now onto the reason why I am only giving this place 3 stars.. We came here for drinks during their "happy hour" and ordered crown & coke and grey goose & pineapple juice. The drinks were watered down. It tasted as if I got a glass of pineapple juice with no vodka at all. We just had the one drink each and left. If u want to get what u pay for as far as drinks go, I recommend getting a bottle of saki or wine. This way u KNOW that u are getting what u pay for. My husband enjoys the saki here. read more

Wow!! Great place and atmosphere! I wanted to especially give big applause to our waiter Alex. He was great! Best waiter I have had hands down. My wife and I recently went here for our anniversary and he really made our whole experience feel special! We had the Cuban 8, spicy girl, and a couple of pieces of sushi. Wow!! It was really fresh and delicious! The Cuban 8 was my wife's favorite! The crunch on top of the roll is amazing and something we have never had before. My friends have recommend this place and told my wife and I to ask for the young gentleman Alex, and wow he did not disappoint! Michiru is one of our favorite sushi places. We have been coming here since it opened and the food quality has remained great. Fresh and well made. Alex "Ting Ting", the waiter, has been serving us for the last year and a half and has been prompt on our order and makes sure we have a great experience. Johnny, the manager, is always there if there is an issue. Yes, there are times things aren't perfect, but when my family and I come here twice a week, no one is perfect. Michiru is persistent in great food and service. We are happy and will continue to have this in our top five for great places to eat in and around Houston. The sushi here is delicious and the customer service is very good. However, it's way too expensive. I'm not sure how the lunch menu prices are, but the dinner menu costs quite a bit. So this being my first time here, it was enjoyable. We went in on a Friday night close to 9pm. They were still packed so we took the first available seat, which was unfortunately the sushi bar. I felt like a packed sardine, but thankfully toward the middle of our meal it started clearing out. The food doesn't all come at one time which can be bad or good depending on your company. But the good part of sitting at the sushi bar is that I got to see all the pretty sushi roll creations go out. This place definitely makes sushi like an art display like my rainbow seaweed salad. It had a bowl made of ice and the sashimi mixed in with the seaweed salad was just spectacular ( it was sweet but with a tang). My friend had the Mongolian beef which was yummy also. But I wasn't a fan of the fire island roll, 1 it was not very spicy, 2 it had cream cheese, 3 ewww it was fried! Sorry I always want to like the fried rolls but I never do. I also got the Toro negi roll. It was nothing special. All in all I would go back! It seems like a chill place to hang out with friends and have some pretty sushi! :) read more

Just moved to the area and was craving sushi. It was a Saturday night around 730pm...we say at the bar due to a wait. We bar people, so that was perfectly fine with us. Bartender seemed a little scattered...we had to tell him we wanted to order food. The spring rolls we ordered as an app came AFTER we finished our entree and that was only because we mentioned we never got them. The bartender was honest and told us they lost the ticket...no worries. Well try it again, the food was good...service just seemed a little off and long to get things. read more

It's Friday night and I get that it's busy but was told it was going to be a 40 minute wait. I get that that so like everyone else waiting patiently but then an hour passes and then the hostess seats 3 other people that came in after us and we've already been waiting over an hour at this point. So I asked the hostess when were we going to be seated because she sat 3 set of people that came in after us and she said we were next. So we finally get sat and then it was another 10 minuets before the waitress asked us about drinks. We order drinks and an appetizer, 30 minuets later the appetizer still isn't out and our waitress finally shows up and notices that our appetizer still isn't out and then finally takes our order. Our appetizer finally comes out and 10 minuets later our meals....really? Happy Anniversary to us. The worst service we've ever had here. Never had we ever had to wait this long. This place has the best sushi in the area. Prices are a bit high (rolls $13-$17) so we can only come every 4 months instead of once a month like we would prefer! Service can be touch a go. We've had great service and fairly non-existent service but to be fair they do get really crazy busy. If service is important to you, wait for a table instead of opting for the bar.
