On my first visit to Men-U, I was greeted by a young gentleman at the reception who kindly welcomed me. I was impressed to see that the place looked well maintained and modern as I expected a salon of this calibre to be. Also, I was pleased to learn that I could get a 50% discount on a standard haircut since it was my first ever visit. However, I was not in need of a hair cut at the time! So, after browsing through their price list, I quite fancied the idea of an Indian head massage which sounded pleasant. Yet, I was only to understand that the beautician was away for a week, therefore I decided to re-visit another time. I have currently yet to re-visit as this was just a few days ago but I do hope that next time, I will have better luck. It is always a good idea to give them a call beforehand and pre-book as the receptionist did suggest. To men, this seems the right place in Liverpool for a perfect pamper and unwinding. Men-U definitely feels like the real deal, popular with the locals and a service of exceptional standard.

The shop includes the usual magazines for you to read whilst waiting plus a TV screen. This is a fairly reasonable priced barbers with a mens cut starting at only £5 and OAP's costing as low as £4. A boys cut is only £4.50. I have been here once before to get a simple short back and sides and I found the service to be efficient and professionally done. The place also appeared to be very hygenic and my barber was a charming chap who gave me a no rush service. I would undoubtedly recommend this barbers to any male.

The prices are reasonable & the shop itself is always clean & tidy. This shop does get very busy especially on weekends & during holidays & they have a policy for ' no under 5's on Friday or Saturday' Parking can sometimes be an issue as there are lots of other shops in the row but there is other areas to park fairly nearby.
