Are you kidding me? Never ever expected such a high quality Italian restaurant in the middle of nowhere in Germany. If you come around here you must try them. I am serious.

Our Airbnb owner recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. Lasagna and margherita pizza were both very good. I got the small pizza and it was more than enough. read more

Solid choice right in the on the corner of the Central Square! There is sometimes a line- so find out if they are waiting for Ice Cream or dinner- sometimes it is best to walk in a bit farther to sit and dine inside. Pizza, small salad and drinks (non-alcohol) for 2 =21.60euro not bad. Lots of indoor dining- upstairs area. Good Pizza-thin crust-healthy size! Would recommend - though service can be a bit slow and curt. read more

Great gelato!! Too many flavors to choose from. The Yoghurt Amarena seems to be the local favorite. And, how affordable... if it wasn't for all the calories, I would eat this stuff for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cash only... the gentleman at the ice cream window speaks very little English, and not the most welcoming... but ice cream is fantastic!! read more

Best service so far in Germany. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The pizzas are quite generic, but the bruschetta is outstanding. Given it's location on the corner of the main square, the outdoor patio offers what are probably the best views of the town. read more

I love this place. Their coffees are great and their ice cream is amazing. The people that work here are also very nice. My favorite thing on the menu is the chocolate banana spaghetti eis. So amazing!!! read more

This was our third visit to Winzerstuble. Wisely I reserved a table upon our arrival to Gengenbach…read morethat morning. When we arrived for dinner at 2000 the restaurant had only one open table -- ours! The food is wonderful. My wife had maronensuppe (chestnut soup) and putensteak uberbacken (gratinated turkey steak with melted cheese); I had kartoffelsuppe (potato soup) and schwein fillet pfanne (grilled pork tenderloin with spaetzle). I also opted to skip the included salad and instead had a side order of bratkartofflen (fried potatoes) which were amazing. Everything was outstanding. My only "complaint" was the Aperol spritz I had. Meh; I make better spritz myself. So I'll skip spritz in the future and drink local Schwarzwald bier instead.
