It's a hotel too so you can either stay overnight if you are on a long tour or just for a refreshment break if you are on a shorter day trip. For motorists there are ample parking facilities on the adjoining road, and it's surprisingly well served by public transport. In summer there's a large beer garden and it's a great place to bring young children, who can explore the spacious grounds and play outside safely away from the danger of traffic. Inside it's an old building which has been completely and very tastefully renovated in a modern style. It has the ambience of a welcoming English country club set peacefully in its own grounds.There is a wide range of food and drink to satisfy all tastes and purses, and the service is both friendly and efficient.
