I just left your store in Grand Forks and I feel like I need to tell somebody this. The lady behind the counter at 10:30 is the rudest woman I have ever encountered in retail. This is my second encounter with her and the first one wasn't very pleasant either today. I was told that I had blocked the entrance for other customers on the way to the cash register. Well, there was one person at the cash registers (her) and one person behind me who I offered to let go in front of me but said no they were fine after she reprimanded me in front of everyone for taking up too much room in the aisle. I'd had it. I quietly said OK and left my cart where it was and left. I love Michael's and I am sorry to say this will be my last trip there. I just can't take the rudeness anymore. read more

This is an interesting Michael's store, it just feels a little different than the other stores I have visited. it could be that it might be a little smaller in size, causing some spatial differences, I don't know. The store has all of the same quality products that I would typically purchase at a Michael's and the prices were also right in line. I was glad to see a Michael's in town, give me yet another reason to visit the area when I need to get some things I cannot find in the middle of nowhere area I reside. Good store, nice staff and it checks all the boxes you would expect from a Michael's. read more

I left this location absolutely livid today with the assistant manager, Matthew. I waited 20 minutes for a curbside pickup order that never came, so I went inside to pick it up. The item was oversized so the cashier had to ask Matthew for help. Matthew got my item and then said to me "you waited 20 minutes? You know you could just come in right?" To which I said yes I'm aware, however I have a medical condition and wanted to do curbside. Matthew then says "uh huh sure you do". This humiliating interaction occurred in front of a bunch of other customers. I then left the store feeling mortified and called back and spoke with Matthew. I explained to him I didn't appreciate the way he treated me and told him that I have a postpartum hemorrhage which was the reason why I elected curbside in the first place. I truly hope Matthew doesn't treat any other customers this way, especially ones who may have a disability or medical concern like me. Although I don't appear to have an issue, I did have a valid reason to utilize curbside. If Matthew as the store manager feels as though people should just come into the store then maybe this location shouldn't offer curbside pickup to begin with. My issue was not at all with the wait time, it was with the way Matthew treated me. read more
