So as a special gift for me my friend gifted me a mini-session for the holidays. The studio is located in Pearland in what looks like a little house. For the mini-sessions she had two small scenes set up. We did a couple of outfit changes and took pictures in both scenes. The families before and after us were repeat customers and had nothing but praise for their previous experiences. I was a nervous that none of the photos would come out, or that my child would have a complete meltdown once the lights were on and camera ready. But Aimee was very good at making me and my kid feel very comfortable. I've only seen one shot so far from the session today, but I am so very pleased with how it came out. While I fully support what photographer do and understand that a lot of work goes into the final product, the outright refusal to work together -- or worse accept any type of non-cash payment -- shows that Michael Carr Photography does not care about long term customer care. We would never consider using them again in the future knowing this is the way past clients are treated. (Not to mention, the wedding photos in question put them on the COVER of The Knot at the time. They got their money's worth in referrals alone.) Choose another photographer who works in the modern age and cares about their customer's experience. Lisa and Michael do not.
