The Stager helped with very useful presentation advice, and the photographer was simply amazing. The house looked so good! Jennifer estimated that our house would sell within two weeks. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Gerald Niccolai (Team Member of Landro Fox Cities…read moreRealty) being a first-time homebuyer and military veteran with very little knowledge about how to find the right home or utilize my VA Loan program.  He is honest and very thorough (from day one of the search to the day of closing he was there with expertise and understanding), and he really helped me make it through this process. I've recommended Gerry to both friends and family looking for the very best. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better realtor in the Fox Valley area. Gerry worked hard and never gave up even when I almost did. I am very proud to say I am in my first home now, thanks to Gerry's efforts and I'm very grateful. I would recommend Mr. Niccolai to anyone who wants a realtor who takes them seriously, listens, guides and doesn't pressure a purchase.

I then posted my honest opinions of it on a Google review and she threatened to sue me. I believe this woman just always needs the upper hand. UPDATED RESPONSE TO COMMENT REPLY:: (Since Yelp isn't letting me reply) I appreciate your response, but I want to clarify the perspective behind my review. My frustration came from how negotiations were handled, it often felt like our reasonable attempts to find middle ground were brushed aside, as if you alone could control the terms. Your requests grew increasingly excessive for what was a starter home, and the tone felt more like demands than discussions. We chose your client's offer because it felt like our own story reflected back to us, and we were genuinely excited for them. But as the process unfolded, the entitlement and behavior we encountered drained the joy out of what should have been a milestone moment for us. You made a great paper offer, but it felt like you and your clients never intended to stand by any of it, it seemed like you only used it to get a house under asking, in a market that most people are paying over. At the walk‑through, your clients sent over a new list of demands while we still legally owned the home for nearly another 24 hours. I had every intention of taking care of additional items before closing, but the tone of those last‑minute demands, like so much of the transaction, felt controlling and pressured rather than cooperative. What also stood out to me was that your clients were allowed to schedule appointments for my home, which was a home that was not yet theirs, without even asking for our permission, despite the fact that we had already declined that amendment. In my opinion, that came across as unprofessional and left us feeling disrespected in our own space. The reality is our entire experience, between both agents, was awful. When I wrote my honest perspective, you threatened to sue me if I didn't remove it. That doesn't feel like someone genuinely interested in understanding how people experience working with you, it feels like an attempt to silence me for sharing my side. I am very glad this is over, but I felt the need to express just how terrible the experience was as a bit of closure. My review isn't about vengeance, it's about the disappointment of seeing what should have been a positive, shared milestone turn into something so negative.

We didn't have any home buying experience and were unsure of the steps to take and in what order and she did little to guide us. She told us we would need a certain amount for a down payment and that if we didn't have it we couldn't get a house(untrue) We said we didn't have that amount yet but could make it happen if we found a place we liked wanted to move forward. We never heard from her again. I felt like she wasn't really on our side and was always so busy or she couldn't get us in houses we wanted to see. It worked out since we ended up going through another agency and realtor and bought a house. Would not recommend.

I live in…read moreCalifornia, and with my mother leaving the house to go into assisted living, I was no longer motivated to continue maintenance and upkeep. Word had already gotten out that I might be selling, and boy did I suddenly have a lot of new friends making offers, including real estate agents. I was even given rather forceful "Advice" by a family member. I decided to find an agent that was a member of the Yelp community and I'm sure glad I did. I was keeping quiet about my decision to sell, and in the meantime Tamara prepared a well written documentation of selling prices nearby and a carefully crafted suggested listing price with a very professional strategy as to why that number was a good start. Several months later I returned to Wisconsin and did the chores she had penned out for me. At that point she listed the property and took care of a neighbor trying to "Adjust" the rear property line by moving the fence in by six feet. I was not having success in reasoning with him but she said " Just let me do my magic". And she did. The problem simply went away, as did the annoyance of a very aggressive and persistent realtor who had been calling me frequently . I flew home after the property was listed and a week later we had four good offers and she went over each one and explained why the second highest offer was the best. She made the whole process painless. We went into the shortest escrow I have ever experienced. Every step was either on time or ahead of schedule. Her team was extremely efficient. There were a few Title fees that I thought might have been junk fees but it didn't matter. The process was so well executed all the fees were worth it. I am a believer that the top shelf of any profession is worth every cent you might pay over the average. Tamara's commission and brokerage fee were very fair and reasonable. I went back to Wisconsin to sign the final docs and the next day the money was in the bank, $25k over the listed price. Interacting with Tamara over the last few months has been a pleasure and I sincerely consider her a friend. Thank you Tamara!
