I experienced serious communication issues, conduct I perceived as highly unprofessional and disrespectful, and interactions that left me feeling unsupported, dismissed, deeply disappointed, and constantly overstressed. I expected clear communication, sound judgment, and professionalism during a vulnerable time. Instead, I found the experience emotionally exhausting. I often felt unheard and concerned by conduct I personally found troubling and inappropriate for an attorney-client relationship. Most disturbing to me was feeling that personal information and vulnerabilities I shared in confidence were later used against me in ways that felt hurtful and demeaning. Clients should feel safe with their attorney, not afraid to speak openly.
